I'm pretty sure the last CrossFit comp I did was around this time 10 years ago but when @mmdieter asks you to fill in last minute you have to say yes. She's an absolute unit and I could barely hang (literally, I ripped both hands and almost passed away on workout 1) but we made a good team and pulled off first🥇in RX division next to a bunch of other strong ladies. My body is wrecked today and I love it.

Happy Member Monday! ⭐️
Congratulations on 1k Classes 👏

It’s no surprise to see our games athlete and all around rockstar Michelle B hitting 1k classes this week!

:: How long have you been at CODE 541?
4 years! Although I have been working out with Lauren and some of the other crew probably close to 10+ years! 
:: Current goal in the gym?
To just keep chugging along and having fun while I stay healthy and fit as I age. I love that I have continued to get stonger even at 50, and that moving my body makes me feel my best day in and day out.

:: What’s a recent win you’re proud of? Despite my resistance, I am proud of qualifying for the CrossFit Games and placing 4th. Getting out of my comfort zone was good for me, and it was a good confidence boost. 
:: What do you love most about the CODE 541 community?
All the coaches and members are amazing, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It’s always so nice to come in and see everyone and have some healthy fun. 
:: What is your favorite CrossFit workout or movement?
All the variety! I always love a good chipper and some fun gymnastics! Throwing around the barbell and even a short calorie sprint is also very satisfying! Really, just all of it!

:: What advice would you give someone thinking about starting CrossFit?
Don’t be afraid to start! The Code 541 community is so friendly and welcoming. We have althletes of all abilities, so there is no reason to feel intimidated. Everything can be scaled and it is such a fun way to work out that you never get bored of. You won’t regret it! #membermonday #code541crossfit #1kclub

Crossfit Age Group Games 2025💪🏼
This season started on the other side of the world thanks to @kiaorastrong 🇳🇿 /CrossFit Taupō and finished in Columbus OH with @thelegendschampionship @crossfitgames

I’m often heard yelling “I love crossfit” and I truely mean it. I love the life it has allowed me to live and the friends it has provided me.

SPECIAL thanks to my daughter the MVP of the weekend. @macfosie mummy loves you😘
Shoutout to my friends that I compete with/against, it was great to see/chat/hug you again and to the new friends made!

I’m sure I’ll wish I had said more🫶🏼

Grateful for my sister, @mmdieter , for traveling all the way from Oregon to Florida for a quick visit and some CrossFit Games training.

She just qualified for her first Masters CrossFit Games, and I’m so excited we get to experience it together. It was so fun to train, race, and compete side by side. Well, except for the part where she beat me a couple times 😅

She’s the one who introduced me to CrossFit 13 years ago, and now here we are. I feel lucky to share this bond and this experience with her. ❤️💪
