Forty-three! 🥳 Thank you everyone for the birthday love! Yesterday was a day full of many beautiful things, and I am feeling fortunate to celebrate another year.

This last year I stepped into a place of more reverence for my life, more care for my body, and more honoring of myself. I experienced a profound shift (thank you, year of the snake!) - a transformation that came from choosing myself over and over again.

I’m documenting some of my proudest accomplishments here (mostly so I can look back one day and think “Aw younger Tara thought she had it so together but look at me now!” 😂). Life is constantly asking us to evolve, and I’m here for it! This was 42:

- I stopped drinking alcohol
- I stopped drinking caffeine (for now; it’s giving me less anxiety!) and replaced my morning coffee with ceremonial cacao
- I started micro-dosing medicinal San Pedro and Psilocybin (not simultaneously) which are great for mental health
- I hosted my first yoga retreat, which was small and intimate and so much fun (next one is in Greece in August 2026)
- I spent six weeks in Costa Rica as the integration facilitator at a plant medicine retreat center
- I walked away from a relationship that I really wanted to work but was hurting me
- I stayed single after that break-up
- I helped our real estate firm achieve its most-productive year so far! Yay @reese.realestate
- I helped many hypnotherapy clients achieve their goals
- I was bi-coastal for a lot of it, but continued to teach lots of yoga and see Reiki clients in both New Orleans and California
- I travelled a lot (splitting time btwn NOLA and SF, Costa Rica twice, finally visited Asheville, NC, reunited with NYC and Boston, and of course, Arkansas & Florida)
- And I got to take George on his first international flight!

It was a good year, and I’m grateful to have moved through a lot of things that felt like they were holding me back, so that now, as we move into the year of the horse, I feel more in my power and ready to take on the world with a stronger foundation than ever before. Here is to achieving many more dreams at 43! Love yall!

This was a really special and such close to my heart photoshoot 🫶
Having the chance to photograph my beautiful sister-in-love and my future youngest nephew, growing comfortably in her gorgeous belly, was such an honor and so emotional.
We had the most magical afternoon, the skies cleared up from the rain, and the sunset was such a gift - once in a lifetime firy display of color for the perfect backdrop in a perfect moment ✨️
So much of the mother goddess archetype energy has been so palpable and so captivating - profoundly nurturing in her earthly love, fierce, yet soft and expansive, flexible in the rupturous transformation of body and soul.
The deep tones and subtle scents of this sacred journey into motherhood - I hope I was able to do some justice to it 🙏💗🙏
We all have been so excited for every moment of your growth and can't wait to welcome you earthside, sweet little one 🙏❤️💙🌱🪷
