“Cowboying is an art in itself”

In collaboration with @mo_tric our photographic shirt-dresses walked this year’s Embellished runway 🐄🩷

A night all about showing off the crazy talented people of the area - I had the idea to ask if Mo might be interested in making the collab frocks in my mind. A friend and mentor and inspiration - I was so excited when she agreed 🤠

Michelle’s series titled Florida Cowboys documents the generational cowboy culture of swfl, on the ground in her boots at the ranch she captured their story and has shared the beauty of real Florida Cowboys in a traveling rodeo, exhibition back in 2021, art prints and so much more

Ive know Michelle as long as I can remember and back in high school I assisted her on many shoots and projects - one being painting text on the wall for her exhibit (2021 photos at the end) its been fantastic collabing with her as she was huge in shaping the artist I am today. Our frocks are for sale or custom order!

Hats by @elranchwesternwear an incredible local store for all you cowboy needs!!

Thank you to our incredible models @lovahhhhhs @nicolepinillaa @the_aniyalator_ 🙏

Meet more of the talented creatives bringing this year’s EMBELLISHED runway to life ✨ From fashion designers and fine artists to photographers, jewelers, and mixed-media makers, every collection tells a unique story.

Stay tuned as we continue introducing the incredible designers behind this year’s wearable art show! 💃👩‍🎤More spotlights coming soon!

Get your tickets at bayshoreartsdistrict.org

Award-winning jewelry designer Amanda Jaron brings her signature creativity and craftsmanship to this year’s EMBELLISHED runway. Known for her one-of-a-kind fine jewelry and artistic vision, we’re excited to see her wearable work come to life.

Fashion designer JuJu Jacobs is known for blending creativity with craftsmanship through her custom couture designs. This year, she’s bringing her imaginative style back to the EMBELLISHED runway with one-of-a-kind wearable art creations!

With a degree in Interior Design and a lifelong inability to leave well enough alone, Barb Daltorio has never met a blank canvas, empty room, or unsuspecting piece of wood she didn’t want to transform. Her creative path has wandered through interiors, custom epoxy furniture, charcuterie boards, sculptural wall art, bowls, and just about anything that can be coated in resin and a little imagination.

Even the kitchen isn’t safe. When she’s not creating with epoxy, she’s crafting artisan sourdough loaves because she firmly believes flour, fermentation, and a beautiful crust qualify as an art form.

For Barb, creativity isn’t confined to a single medium. It’s simply a way of seeing the world. This Met Gala inspired floral gown is her latest reminder that art can be worn just as beautifully as it can be displayed.

Award-winning photographer Michelle Tricca is known for creating powerful visual stories that celebrate people, place, and community. This year, she’s bringing her creative vision behind the lens to the EMBELLISHED runway with a one-of-a-kind wearable art design!

“Many people have no idea that cowboys and ranches exist in our state. The cowboys always say there’s more to Florida than just beaches and Mickey Mouse. I fully believe that.”

Photographer Michelle Tricca (@mo_tric) continues to shine light on the life of the enduring #Floridacowboy through her impressive, larger-than-life photo exhibitions. This time, she’s sharing her work across rural counties. It’s all part of the Arts and Agriculture Program (@arts_and_agriculture), sponsored by the Florida Cultural Alliance (@flca_32303) and the State of Florida. The program’s mission is to bring culturally relevant, high-quality art to #rural communities across the state.

Art and rodeo culture have more in common than you’d think.

Both demand presence. Both tell stories that are bigger than words. Both ask you to show up and give it everything.

Installing the Florida Cowboys exhibition by @mo_tric at the Arcadia Rodeo was an exercise in meeting a space on its own terms, reading the walls, feeling the scale, and trusting the work to do what great art always does.

When it came together, the two worlds didn’t just coexist. They understood each other.

Florida Cowboys Exhibition was on view during the Arcadia Rodeo, March 12-15, 2026
