NKTOBER - Winners of the week 2 ✨

The second week of Inktober is already over, and it's time to announce the winners! Congratulations 🎉

As last year, we will be using the official @inktober list. Every monday, we will select three winners who will receive a selection of Clairefontaine and Jacques Herbin products based on their ranking (valued between €50 and €150). These three winners will be selected from among the illustrations created the previous week.

Hi everyone! ✨🙌✨

Well… it’s been a while. Autumn is slowly settling in, and somehow it feels like just the right moment for a little hello from me too 🍂

I haven’t really posted or been very active here since November 2025. Apparently, I still remember my Instagram password, so I thought it was finally time to say hi again! 😉

First of all, thank you to everyone who messaged me, checked in, or simply thought of me. I really appreciated it, even when I didn’t always have the energy to reply. ❤️✨🙏

There wasn’t one particular reason why I disappeared. I think I just got tired of constantly trying to keep up with everything around me.

Even things I normally enjoy became less about the moment and more about what should come next. I realised I needed some space to slow down and just enjoy things as they were.

After coming back to Estonia from Armenia, I started to really appreciate a quieter pace: less noise, less rushing, and more time to enjoy ordinary days.

I never stopped creating, collecting ideas, or finding inspiration. I just kept more of it to myself for a while.

And now it feels nice to share some of it here again. I don’t really want to make rules for myself about what I should post or how often I should be here. I’d rather just see what feels right.

I want this space to be fun again. Somewhere I can share art, sketches, experiments, things I’m learning, little moments from life, and whatever else catches my attention along the way.

And I’ve missed the people here too!

I’d love to reconnect with my creative friends, share ideas and inspiration, meet new people, maybe make some new friends, and simply see a little more of the world through other people’s eyes.

So… I’m here again ☀️

Still very much enjoying my quieter life, just happy to have this little part of it back too.

And if you’ve made it all the way down here, thank you for reading. I’m really happy you’re still here ❤️

Week 1 of our Marathon is buzzing with creativity! 🐝

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined — we hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are 💛

And an extra warm thank you to those already sharing their sketches — it’s such a joy to see your creativity come alive every day. We’re doing our best to feature as many works as possible in our stories (don’t miss them — it’s pure inspiration!).

Every week, we’ll also highlight some of your drawings in a dedicated post. The choice will always be random — because truly, every sketch is wonderful. If it were possible, we’d show all of them (we have nearly 2k participants — so it’s just physically impossible 🐝).

I stumbled upon this catchy tune by @itsjvke a couple days ago, and it instantly made me want to use it and sort my work by colours. The song plays with different colours to talk about feelings - so cool! 🎶🎨🌈

It’s perfect for short creative videos. I’m using just the first 14 seconds, but in the original a fun synth part kicks in at 0:30 - you could animate some dance moves to that, or play it on your way home after a Friday shift and get into weekend mode. ✨

Ever walked inside a painting? 🧐✨❤️

Some days are perfect for slowing down and letting beauty surround you. That’s exactly how it felt when I visited the multimedia exhibition of Van Gogh and Klimt by @anima.exhibitions at the @artistsunionofarmenia in Yerevan. 😍

The colors moved, the music played softly, and for a while it felt like walking through the paintings themselves. Van Gogh’s part was rich with his familiar works and life stories — from the swirling skies to the warm golden glow of Sunflowers. Klimt’s section was smaller but filled with soft gold tones and gentle elegance. ☀️

This visit also reminded me of my own painting from last year — my acrylic version of Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” (third version, blue-green background), which I made for my grandmother. The original, painted in 1888 in Arles, shows twelve bright sunflowers against a calm blue-green background — a joyful yet peaceful composition, created to decorate a room for his friend Paul Gauguin. 🌻

If you’re in Yerevan, the exhibition runs until August 19 — a beautiful way to spend an afternoon surrounded by art. 🥰✨🎨

Time to announce the winners of my DTIYS challenge! 🥳

I didn't expect many entries, it's the first time I've done this kind of challenge and it was a lot of fun!
After time I think I drew a really challenging one... instead of a simple portrait I went wild with lots of little details. Oh well, you can call it my weakness or a superpower, but the more details, the more exciting the drawing process! 👌🤣

So, I was really happy to see those three amazing entries! There was supposed to be one prize, but I decided all three deserve a reward, look at the effort put in those pieces! 😍

First place goes to @moarea_art ✨️
I pick it for the winner because of the unique interpretation. This Reena has a strong vibe of Stevie Nicks put in some magical fairytale, and I love it! It's much more bright than mine, even the ghosts in the background don't look scary or lost, they bring to mind some helpful spirits from enchanted woods. Also the colours are wild. It feels all surroundings dance to the melody she plays. 🎶

Second prize goes to @clacsib and @mila_kostrytsia 🥳
First one - so much effort! I'm amazed how she caught all the little details I put there 😍 Whole scene looks so calm, even it takes place in a haunted forest 😁
And last one (first one I recieved 😁) have it's unique magical vibe. Like she's playing for some cosmic spirits and whole sky is dancing with the melody. 🪐🌟

For the 1st place I will send 3 of my prints (or a print and a calendar - yes, there's a few left! 😅)

After a long trip, the best part of any adventure is finding a cozy little café where you can finally sip your first cup of coffee and enjoy a yummy sandwich or pastry. That’s when the day really begins — whether you’re in a new city or an entirely different country! 🥰

In Finland, I kicked off my day at @fazersuomi (a super cute spot!), and of course, I had to sketch while I was there. I had the tastiest pistachio bun and a delicious coffee with a hint of Geisha chocolate (one of their signature treats!). 😋✨☕

I used a fun mix of art tools in my @royaltalens sketchbook — started with @winsorandnewton watercolor pencils to build the layout, then added watercolor for the base colors. After that, I popped in some details and highlights with @carandache wax crayons, added a few shiny touches with an acrylic marker @poscaoficial , and finished it off with a regular liner to label everything. ✍️✨🎨
