I have so many fun memories captured from this Mardi Gras, I’m beyond excited to share these with each of you. Only 20 photos per post is criminal, I have well over 300 as we close out Fat Tuesday, I’m reflective of how thankful I am to be a part of such a beautiful and diverse community of people. Stay tuned for more Mardi Gras madness from Vic. #mardigrasmobile #mardigrasmobileal #mardigras2026⚜️💜💚💛⚜️ #mobilealabama #fattuesday2026

Only✌️days away from the end of one of my favorite❤️ holiday-themed races🥺 I hate to see this one go😭 and wish I had participated in this race a lot sooner than I did. However I'm glad I got to run 3 of them with my soon-to-be forth and final one hopefully being the best😊 I got to see a wedding during the afterparty last year and meet the news reporter covering it @kathrynbruch_tv of @wkrg5 😁 Also a very big thank you @mobile.mask for all the love and dedication you put into this race each year👏 It showed. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there this Sunday helping to send this race off with all the jazz and pizzazz a Mardi Gras event can have!☝️😄

Let me fill you in if you haven't been back since last Mardi Gras

🏒 The Mobile Arena is taking form as the new event venue replacing the old Civic Center. There has already been announcement of a new hockey team coming back to Mobile.

🚆 The Amtrak "Mardi Gras Service" officially returned to Mobile on August 18, 2025. Traveling from Mobile to New Orleans with twice-daily round trips, featuring stops in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula.

🌟 Six 9-foot tall bronze statues honoring Hall of Famers from Mobile in front of the Convention Center. Highlighting Hank Aaron, Satchel Paige, Billy Williams, Ozzie Smith, Willie McCovey, and Robert Brazile.

🚦 26 traffic signals have been replaced with replaced with four-way stops to improve traffic flow and increase pedestrian safety as a part of "Downtown Street Optimization Plan".

↔️ Multiple one way steets have been converted to two-way as part of that same initiative. Making it less confusing and easier to travel through Downtown Mobile.

*I do not own the rights to footage of clips of Amtrak, Mobile Arena, or Hall of Fame Walk*
