🔥 Join us Saturday, Jan 10 at 5:00 pm at the ABCA Convention for the Culture & Leadership Hot Stove Panel 🔥

I am honored to share the stage with an incredible lineup of leaders shaping the future of baseball, performance, and human development:

Craig Gianinno: A master of team culture, leadership energy, and player connection who brings the best out of every roster he leads.

Jamey Carroll: A 12-year Major League veteran known for his grit, leadership, and deep understanding of player development.

Dr. Barry Davis: A 5-time Hall of Fame coach and thought leader in emotional intelligence, leadership, and sustainable team success.

Diamyn Hall: A leading mind in the mental performance world, helping athletes optimize mindset, focus, and emotional regulation under pressure.

Clint Hurdle: Former MLB manager who led the Rockies to the 2007 World Series and continues to inspire athletes and coaches with wisdom on leadership and purpose.

Tracy Tanguay (moi!): I bring a unique lens on nervous system regulation, mobility optimization, and Tapping-based techniques to help athletes unlock performance, resilience, and recovery from the inside out.

This panel dives deep into how leadership, nervous system intelligence, mindset, and movement create the foundation for consistent, peak performance.

If you are a coach, trainer, or performance professional who cares about building athletes who are not only physically strong but also emotionally balanced and mentally adaptable, you will not want to miss this.

Let’s talk about what truly drives performance - nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and intentional movement.

🔥 Culture. Leadership. Nervous System Mastery. Movement Optimization.

although hearing audible “clicks” & “pops” in a joint can definitely be worrying… it does 𝐍𝐎𝐓 necessarily mean that there is anything wrong with the underlying structures! 🔐

sometimes cavitations, or “pops”, occur simply because there is air in the joint space 🫧

if you 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 have any pain or discomfort when this occurs, it is likely not anything of concern 💪🏼

🚨if you 𝐃𝐎 have pain with clicking, I recommend getting formally assessed by a PT so that you can dive deeper into the root of the problem 🩺

to further improve the stability of the shoulder, here are 3️⃣ activities I love to incorporate in varying planes & positions!

🔹resisted external rotation
🔸wall slides with band
🔹prone elevated rows

What were we working on?
The correct answer was all of the above. We were focusing on pelvis control to keep the hinge longer while controlling the back leg so we could initiate slight forward drift. While I normally use a 3D strap for working on this drill I found two bands does a great job and adds a slight dynamic component that I kind of like for engagement of the adductor in feeling the backside activation. After reviewing video we noticed these issues were causing big sequencing issues that were keeping him from achieving the velocities he wanted to reach.

hey you - stop slouching!! 😝

and try these 2 moves to unlock that posture 💥

I get asked by clients & friends all the time, “how can I fix my ‘bad’ posture?!” 🤔

my response is always that no single posture or position is inherently “bad” for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

BUT, being in sustained positions for LONG periods of time can definitely lead to stiffness, muscle weakness, joint pain, etc.

one of my favorite phrases is to remember is that “your BEST posture is your NEXT posture.”

meaning… just 👏🏼 keep 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼 moving!!

the more you move, stand, twist, rotate, and switch up your position throughout the day, the better you’re going to feel!

if you spend all day slouched forward & hunched over, your body is likely craving some extension + rotation!

daily movement doesn’t have to be complicated. grab a foam roller, take 5 mins, and give these feel good moves a try during the day! 💪🏼

I promise they feel really good 😋
