One of those moments where the pocket gets deep - this fav phat jam with the man @nehal_rox, singing 'em sexy ad-libs, and the band just knows where to go! Woop!
🫠 🫠 love those little fragmented words!

Definitely one of my favourite gigs of all time, and I’m so grateful for such moments at @ncpamumbai.

Bombay, you were nothing short of magical. Definitely the most intimate show on the tour. We will be back real soon.

India Jazz Project 1.0 is real.

What started as an idea, to build a premium, culture-forward platform for jazz, blues and global music in India — now takes form across three cities, with artists we deeply respect and partners who believed when it mattered.

This edition brings together a Grammy-winning global act and some of the finest contemporary voices from India. It’s been built with intention: great music, thoughtful venues, food, cocktails, late nights, and a shared love for listening.

Grateful to our partners who stood by us and helped make this possible —
Jack Daniel’s Merchandise, Rarefore, Hapusa, Kingfisher Ultra, Pistola,District by Zomato, and our incredible venue partners in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Thank you to the artists, agents, crews, collaborators, and everyone who chose to back a first edition.

This is just the beginning.
See you on the floor.

Mumbai, meet MOD Cult - Modern Music Culture.

A band that thrives in the in-between where modern jazz meets soul, groove slips into improvisation, and structure dissolves into feeling.

Led by bassist Avishek Dey, with Shreya Bhattacharya’s evocative vocals, Noah Cerejo on drums, Aditya Ahir on piano/synth, and Jordan Rodriguez on synths & live electronics, MOD Cult crafts immersive, genre-defying soundscapes that are as intricate as they are deeply soulful.

Catch MOD Cult live in Mumbai on 7th Feb, as part of the India Jazz Project, alongside Tinariwen.

Tickets live on District 🎟️
