MOD SENS + FRIENDS

Sorgenfri soundboy Elias aka Mod Sens is leaving town </3 Breakbeats have been served, bass frequencies have trembled and wonky UK grooves have shuffled the dancefloors. Has it all come to an end? WE DON’T KNOW (and we surely don’t hope so) but he won’t exit on us without a proper good bye! For this he’s invited some of his favourite dj’s in town for a full evening of b2b-sessions. Swing by on the 24th of October and say your hellos or goodbyes or simply enjoy a flavourful palette of dance music across different styles and genres!

home session 001. new mix out.

lately i’ve been thinking less about genres and more about the feeling each track leaves behind.

this mix was built around that idea. a space to get lost in your thoughts and let the music take you somewhere between uk bass, dub techno, broken rhythms and immersive electronics.

this is a journey through the sounds i’ve been carrying with me in the past months.

tracklist in comment. link in bio.

Next up at KRØL is malmö homestay @mod.sens

Mod Sens is a DJ and producer affiliated with Bristol-based label Dimeshift and co-founder of the Malmö-based club series @melt_malmo . Rooted in the umbrella of UK bass, his sets and productions explore cross-boundary styles throughout the low-end continuum - from hypnotic dub atmospheres and left-field techno chuggers to skippy 2-steppers and broken bass rhythms. This Wednesday you can expect a musical journey across multiple tempos and pulses, starting off in downtempo ranges and gradually building towards uptempo club rhythms.
