UPGRADES on my Cooper S, let’s talk about it 🔧

The R53 Mini Cooper S is an incredibly capable car from the factory, and that supercharger whine is absolutely intoxicating, but the upgrades and modifications I’ve made to my 2006 British Racing Green Cooper S hatch have made this car even better!

Let me talk you through the majority of what I’ve done, and offer some advice along the way!

Don’t forget to hit follow to see more from me, and let me know what you think I should do this this car before I take it back to the Nurburgring next summer 👀

As promised - P/N of the Expansion Cap: Lev-R 10333
(Only for the alloy coolant tank, it will not fit the stock one)

Now available, Gen 1 MINI, Automatic Airbox kit.

Who said that automatic MINIs don’t disserve intoxicating intake sound and power gains in the whole rpm range 😉

This is a complete plug and play kit with:
✔️ A massive 85mm internal diameter airbox for maximum airflow.
✔️ Integrated battery support.
✔️ Smart use of the back panel to enhance intake sound and increase volume.
✔️ Massive bespoke silicone hose that won’t collapse or choke mid-section.
✔️ A high-quality, high-flow filter.

A unique intake hose designed for the automatic MINIs:
Engineered to optimize airflow:
✔️ 85mm internal diameter at the airbox side, smoothly tapering to 61mm at the throttle body.
✔️ OE-style step provision at the throttle body lip, ensuring a seamless transition and preventing turbulent airflow.
✔️ Tapered design accelerates airflow as it approaches the throttle body for improved efficiency.
Every component works in harmony to create the most efficient, OEM+ intake kit available for the R53.
✔️Provision for the two factory vacuum take offs.

Engineered to deliver performance without sacrificing efficiency for sound.

Gains:
+14 WHP averaging +10WHP through the entire rev range and intoxicating intake sound.
The M45 screams all the way to 7000 RPM, making every pull addictive.

Open filters are loud, but our design is louder and … smarter!

Key Points:
• Massive airbox lid that integrates the back panel
• 85mm internal diameter intake hose with a smooth tapered design
• The only R53 intake hose that retains the OE step-style geometry at the throttle body to reduce turbulence
