POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well it’s been 2 full weeks from being back from mission trip…and after a lot of time of processing and focusing on other things it’s time for a recap!
What I learned:
- I needed to learn how to receive better(got called out on it second day in, it was my challenge the rest of the trip)
- How to have boundaries in leadership
- More things about leadership just in general
- Don’t discount on a kid because of life situation
- To just sit and listen
- How to re-string a weedeater lol
Overall this trip was a blessing! My team is amazing, we cried, laughed, sang, and worked together as a team! There were challenges that were overcome, and heartfelt moments with hugs! Had many coffee adventures, and naps! Not by Might was exactly what this trip was…a time to understand that I can’t do it on my own, but with God IN ALL ASPECTS!!

Thank you God, I give you all the glory. 20 years have flown by and I have no idea how. Time after time I find myself in and out of your presence but I’m finally here to stay. All my life I’ve spent searching for something and I never knew what it was. Something so pure, so tender, so gracious, something I never deserved.

I found the love of Jesus and I will never be the same!!

Revelations 5:9-10 “And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”

Thank you lord for blessing me with so many loved ones. I feel your love everywhere I go through everyone I encounter. Thank you Jesus, you are so worthy!

reminiscing on my two years at vc. what an accomplishment it was. and thinking of what’s next. although i don’t have a 100% assurance of what it, i at least know 100% who it’s going to be for. imagining my life without Jesus is like imagining a living body without a head. it’s impossible. I’ve always prayed to be so close to the Lord that i would be a shell of a person without Him. and that prayer has come to life. am i perfect? far from it. do i still have sin in my life. sadly yes i do. but i know who the author of it all is. and i know entire being and existence would be nothing without Him. so. thank you vc for teaching me truly who God is. and helping guide and grow me into being who He’s called me to be.

and to all the friends and family i’ve made. i love you all beyond words can even describe.

So I jst realized all my guy friends I've had or still have are the best. Like there are the most sentimental loving group of people i've met. You're people I can see attending my wedding and funeral, have told me what was wrong and what was right. Have never felt weird when I call u my 'love'. My people, and those I can txt even after years, and even if we might not be talking at the moment, jst know u've made a great impact on me. And i'm saying thank u, for being my bro, jst keep being the best peeps that u are. Jesus said that 'he is closer than a brother', meaning bros are the closest thing u can have. So I appreciate u guys, and I love you no matter where we stand.
