I can’t believe we’re turning ONE ✨✨✨

November 15, I’m celebrating Lumen House turning one with the people who saw and believed in the vision. The people who helped make Lumen House real and brought it to life!

This celebration is private, invite-only, and my way of saying thank you 🥹

Invitations will be going out to everyone who has been part of Lumen’s first year, from those who have gathered, celebrated and created here, to those who have collaborated, supported and helped this House become what it is today.

Each invitation comes with a +1 for you to invite someone new into the House to experience its magic for themselves. Someone you think should know Lumen, would love the space, or simply belongs in the room.

Delicious food, drinks, a DJ, cooking demonstration, giveaways and a few other things I’m working on. 😉

If you’ve been part of Lumen’s first year, keep an eye on your inbox. 🤍

Yesterday, Moffat Grace Design joined us for our monthly Lunch & Learn to talk all things staging: from creating a great first impression to highlighting a home's best features. They also shared more about their approach, services, and how they can help bring a listing to life.

A big thank you to Moffat Grace Design for sharing their expertise with us and for providing our team with a delicious lunch!

A little look at what’s taking over Lumen House next Sunday ✨

@brookewatsonrealty will be on the decks spinning vinyl deep house, with @stephanie.rae.music bringing live vocals throughout the afternoon.

@taylors.table.ig is turning food into an experience, @theposhcheeseboardco is bringing the grazing spread, and @bulles_et_bieres pouring our signature Sunday Social Spritz.

@prismaphotographystudio and @519lionphotography will be bouncing around the house with their cameras, capturing the people, conversations and moments happening throughout the afternoon, with opportunities to step in front of the camera too.

There are also a few things built into Sunday Social to make walking up to someone you don’t know a whole lot easier. You’ll find those when you get here. 😉

Come for an hour. Stay for four. Wander the house and make the afternoon your own.

I loooove the living space.

I will be honest with you - sometimes styling alone isn’t enough. Some houses it works, and others, we need a little more.

This home needed a few pieces: we rented a coffee table and two chairs to fill the space in the living area. And it made such a difference in that space. It was worth it. Thanks to @moffattgracedesign for those gorgeous chairs and table 🥰

Everything else was furniture the homeowner already owned. We also replaced some lighting fixtures to update the space.

Lots of decluttering, removing and styling later, this house was ready for listing.

Working alongside homeowners is actually a lot of fun. If you can’t leave the home for styling day, it’s okay! 🤝

The Curated Market has a home online. ✨

At the heart of it are four incredible women who believed in an idea and helped bring the very first collection to life.

Meet the women of Vol. 1:

Victoria of @moffattgracedesign
Jess of @thelistingreset
Alex of @nicheboutique.ca
Andrea of @august.moonrise

Each has brought something uniquely their own to Lumen House, thoughtfully curating their collections and giving our guests another way to discover and support beautiful local businesses.

Now you can experience The Curated Market online, too.

Visit the website to meet each of our featured makers, explore their collections and shop directly with them. 🤍

If you’re a maker, creator or curator watching this come to life and thinking, I would love to be part of this, we’d love to discover you too.

Our waitlist is now open for future volumes of The Curated Market.

Sharing a style from today 🤍

We needed a couple pieces today for this room and luckily @moffattgracedesign was able to provide a beautiful table and chairs for this space.

We kept the couch, and everything else is styled.

What a difference. 😍👀 it’s open, cozy, and calming instead of chaotic.

Can’t wait to see the listing photos of this one!🥹

There are moments in business that catch you completely off guard.

Creating this reel was one of them.

Watching the Curated Market come to life, seeing each shelf thoughtfully styled and every maker’s personality woven into the space, I found myself getting emotional. What started as an idea is now something people can walk through, experience and discover.

I’m so grateful to the incredible women who believed in this vision from the very beginning.

Let them see you.

Let them see you love, deeply.
Let them see you passionate about a hobby you enjoy.
Let them see you fail, and let them see you try again.
Let them see you laugh, apologize, rest, and keep showing up.
Let them see you work hard for what matters.
Let them see you choose connection over perfection.

Let them see you in the photo.

Your children are always watching. The everyday, seemingly unimportant moments they witness shape the people they will become. And one day, they’ll want to remember you in this season, too. Just as you are, just as it was.

Book your family photoshoot today and preserve the memories they’ll treasure for years to come.

JUST SOLD — 110 Foster Ave. 🏡
This lovely home had been in the same family since the 1980s, and we’re thrilled to have found the next family who will call it home.
This sale perfectly demonstrated the value that professional staging can add. For a few thousand dollars, we transformed an empty house into a warm and spacious home. The furniture helped buyers visualize each room’s potential—especially the upper bedrooms with their unique slanted ceilings.
We’re grateful to our sellers for trusting the process and to @moffattgracedesign for bringing our vision to life.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
