A week ago today, we wrapped up Refugee Week at the London Cycle Festival and it was one to remember! 🙌

Our riders smashed it at the VIA CRIT Community Race - Ahmad, one of our brilliant bike mechanics, powered into 2nd place! On top of that, Zohir and Omid raced on bikes they built themselves - Pamir* and Wolfy, two beauties crafted from salvaged parts. 🔧💪

Shout out to Tesfay, who took on an epic Solstice 3K Men's Elite run during the event - Such an amazing achievement! 🔥

This wasn’t just about racing - it was the result of weeks of hard work, spirit, and resilience. It was also a powerful show of solidarity with refugees and people seeking asylum - made possible by our brilliant volunteers, everyone who visited our stall, and our hosts @Via_atelier.cc 💛

Keep an eye on our socials as we’ll be sharing more on this soon! 👀

THANK YOU BIRMINGHAM!

What an incredible turn out this weekend, with over 200 riders taking to the streets to show their solidarity ♥️

We have collectively been witnessing a 10 month long gen-o-cide. Not only that, but we are seeing violent and vitriolic Islamaphobia, racism and far-right attacks across the UK right now. Things feel heavy.

But DESPITE witnessing so much hate. We came together with love. We came together with hope. We came together in solidarity.

We will NOT stop riding for freedom, justice & equality for Pal-e-stine.

We will NOT stop speaking up for our brothers & sisters across the world feeling fear at the rise of the far right.

We will NOT stop acting with love, hope, solidarity.

We will NOT stop riding & fighting for a better, more just world ✊🏿✊🏽✊🏼

THANK YOUS ✨
