Where do I start?! it’s a long one so you might want to pull up a seat.

A team of 14 boys took to North Beach a week ago but this was just icing on the cake. The hard work was done and there was not a single thing I was worried about in their physical or mental ability. The boys have been grafting away all year and it was just time to show the outcome of their work. Proud doesn’t come close, not just coached athletes, but they are also my good mates, tearing that seaside town apart.

Corey Evans - 14:20:47
Chris Thomas - 13:37:05
Ellis Symons - 12:56:38
Josh Griffiths - 12:20:20
Josh Jones - 13:36:02
Lewis Knott - 12:34:16
Lewys Jukes - 12:45:01
Lloyd Johnson - 13:26:07
Lloyd Jones - 14:43:14
Morgan Jones - 12:44:45
Steffan Jones - 13:36:41
Taylor Hansen - 13:34:42
Tris Evans - 13:27:50

At every point that I seen someone in that pink and white trisuit they were smiling, everyone acknowledging the crowd, that’s what it’s all about, enjoy the day you’ve worked so hard for. We’re not pros, everyone’s hurting, it doesn’t hurt anymore to give a smile back to someone who cheers you on.

A special mention to Calum Jones, mechanicals meant it wasn’t his day. Showed some absolute dog to get back on that bike when something obviously didn’t want him to finish. The thing I’m proud of the most though is how Calum carried himself, it would have been easy for him to sulk and bring everyone down the next day when he had every reason to, but there was none of it. Instead, he had a drink and a laugh with the boys and you could see he was genuinely happy for everyone. Tenby is having it next year Cal boy, you legend 👊🏼

And to the SWIN support, thank you. Absolutely electric, all day. In the cold and wet, you brought the noise and laughs. Kids, partners, parents, grandparents, friends, every one of you made the difference for your loved ones without even realising it. It’ll be hard to top this year, but I’m sure we’ll have a crack next year 🩷🤍

Third year at Stone Techno, and somehow it just keeps getting better. 🖤

This one felt extra special sharing the weekend with our crew from Scotland and England, and making a few new friends along the way. That’s what it’s all about.

A massive shoutout to my girl @theruthlessraver Seeing you invited on press after all the hard work you’ve put in over the last few years was so deserved. I’m so proud of you, and thanks for letting me be your backstage baddie. 😂❤️ I can’t wait to read your review.

Musically, there were so many highlights, but @freddyk3614 b2b @ogazon.dj in the Grand Hall afters was something else. That sound system, that atmosphere… honestly unforgettable. And an honourable mention to @theladymachine closing set on Sunday we were completely glued to the spot. Pure class.

Until next year, @the_third_room_t3r . ⛓️🖤
