We’ve started reaching out to all sorts of people on instagram, but Mark is an old and dear friend.

Mark’s an incredibly talented artist and designer - check him out @mark_moif and his collage art at @moif_collage

We visited @_lightroomldn to see @davidbowie you’re not alone - there was lots of rare footage layered, collaged and projected in that huge immersive space.

Andrea was wearing it, then Mark modelled it - shows how great it looks on every body.

The Showcase Gallery is open til 5pm today for the torn, found notes exhibition 'Don't Please Tell Anybody', please pop down to the Jubilee Centre, 130 Pershore Street and ring me for entry. Copies of the new book featuring around 50 of the handwritten fragments (also titled 'Don't Please Tell Anybody') are now available for purchase at £8, for now only at the gallery.

Also shown here are three (untorn) notes found on my walk into city centre this morning. Shopping lists are common but are occasionally intriguing, study notes are usually dry but it's interesting that some things are still handwritten...the real discovery today was 'To Herleen From Tanveer 💗' which will remain unseen here on Insta but forms part of a growing live collection, updated daily and viewable at the gallery.

Check out too (slow) progress on the showcase torque, formed piece by piece from dropped earrings, brooches and other lost jewellery found in the streets of Brum.

Also open Mon 6 July - Wed 8 July 12-5pm + Thu 9 July 12-3pm.

Sticking with our theme of CHANGE we upcycled last years massive banners into little pouches for all our speaker and team gifts! Cut by @tashtonge & expertly sewn by @bethajidesign — fastened shut with homemade badges by @luketonge utilising this years type sponsor @thepytefoundry …they contained a collection of goodies including personalised keyrings, and a coin pouch by our pals at @3potato4 🪙

I've had a nice day today 🌼

I joined a collage making class apart of @designfestbrum with @motif_collage, (and i built a cube 😝🧊.) There's something really enriching for the soul about cut and paste.
✂️🖼.

Then straight after I went to have a quick look at the artworks in the Flora exhibition @nook_kingsheath. My frame AP of "Outside the Gate - In Full Bloom" included

Everything looks fab ✌🏼🫶🏼🌸 for tonight's opening. It's definitely worth a visit if you get the chance. The exhibitions on until the 5th July and is apart of the Nooks 2nd Birthday celebrations.
