Have you ever wondered what speakers talk about over happy hour drinks? The REAL advice from REAL speakers in different industries who are getting paid to train, workshop, and speak on big stages?

I painstakingly have worked on this resource for nearly a year to put some of the best advice from conversations, text messages, and emails where I reached out to some of the smartest and well-booked friends I know and asked them for their best advice for speakers.

What I got is real raw advice and information that you’ll never find in all of the vague guides or google searches. No chatgpt, just real answers.

If you have ever wondered what the real answers are? Here it is for free in this e-book!

We intentionally build our culture and leaders on our team. Players and self-elect to be part of a leadership group. This year we had two groups. Each group met bi-weekly with coaches, in addition to regular captain’s and coaches meetings. Each small group met separately, only occasionally meeting as a big group. There were about a dozen meetings per group and here are some examples of the agendas. We discussed current team matters, gave feedback to coaches, and went through different leadership development exercises and activities. Check it out! #BleedPPPurple

Still buzzing with ideas and energy from this amazing group of women last weekend. Who is in your circle? Do they bring you supportive challenging loving energy? We all need to go outside of our everyday group sometimes and get an infusion from strangers. Because two hours in, we had moved from strangers to fully invested fierce protectors and promoters of each other. Find you some of that. #womensupportingwomen #womenentrepreneurs #professionaldevelopment

I feel inspired and fired up after The Work retreat in St Louis last week! @molly.grisham and @ldaviscreative introduced me to a cohort of phenomenal women, and with their encouragement and support, I see new exciting ways to grow my business and reach a greater audience.

What do we all have in common? Well no one is immune from wondering how to dive into “what’s next?” We are compassionate, uplifting, and yet we all have heavy things we’ve been carrying around, filters we’ve been running our lives through that maybe aren’t even our own.

What makes us different? The ways we express our encouragement. The way we help each other. The ways we present help and ask for help. The passions and purposes that light us up. The moments that something starts making sense and excites us to take that next step forward.

As I observed all of our incredible attendees this year, I saw how everyone stepped in when another needed it. I saw ideas click for one person in moment A that clicked for another in moment B. I saw so much growth mindset as these women said “okay…what is possible, now?” I saw confidence in their work become so much clearer and firmer as the weekend went on. It was beautiful.

Weekends like this one serve a big purpose for me too. It reminds me how much I love serving people, particularly those who give everything to everyone around them. I love serving people whose purpose keeps them up at night because I’m one of those people too.

I was grateful for the opportunity to serve so many smart and talented women at The Work Retreat, co-facilitated by the brilliant @molly.grisham, over the last weekend and its been so cool to see our attendees checking in and continuing to cheer each other on in our community channels.

If you want to join us next year, you won’t be sorry! We are already planning. Let me know. ❤️
