Our girl Savannah decided to get baptized on her own! I asked her why, what’s the point? She said to show my family, friends and God that I’m dedicated to Christ! Great to see. ANDDDD all the homies pulled up! You can’t do life alone. Matt 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Thanks @compassionchurchaz and @myronscott_

Happy Birthday to the magnificent Mrs. Molly.

Life is :my people's koolaide:1 with you

You are my favorite person on the planet even when we don't agree. For instance, you share with me differing viewpoints.

You bring a comedic relief wherever you tread & have a dope way of seeing things that others cannot (including myself) and bringing them to sight.

I love that your athleticism has hit plenty of our kids and it's fun to see them experience a life that would be very different if you didn't work so hard in your adolescent days with soccer.

You are a community builder and I think that your skill set has a unique duality that enhances both the church and the state. Meaning you can go any place & leverage your skills to connect & enhance that community.

I love how hard you've worked over our last 9 years of marriage to get better. You've worked on your faults and have significantly grown in your maturity. I love that via the spirit of God when we are fighting we both end up obeying the guidance of the spirit of God.

I'll end with this, when it comes to being a woman that walks it out for God, I highly respect your walk. You've been a vessel for the LORD since before we were friends & the time we've spent together I've only seen you grow. Secretly over the last 9 years of marriage I've enjoyed the Godly wisdom that you've shared. Its :trap house:2!

I love you boo! @molly.yates

Thankful to have experienced the 2026 @usatf youth season as a part of @azspeedtrackclub led by HC Stacey Boyd & based in Ahwatukee with practices at Mountain Pointe. We finished the season with a strong showing at Nationals & I was proud to say that my oldest daughter @peytonyates10 significantly contributed to our medal count.

The STATE of ARIZONA showed out at Track & Field NATIONALS which was held at Cerritos College. As a certified official who was volunteering, it was fun to see so many kids from Arizona competing at a high level.

Speaking of a high level, Peyton turned up the clutch meter at Nationals. She was fortunate to become an 3 event all-American. I was excited about her PR's but even more excited about the work that she put in to getting the pr's. She locked in to workouts, recovery, strength training and nutrition. Bruh, really went a full season again without drinking a lick of soda! Salute my girl.

I want to shout out the team behind her of coaches that spent time with her this season:

AZSPEED-HC @fieldofspeed_az , jay, @appiahspeed , Tremain, @fritz2256, @jmbenesh , @qsham_psych and me.

OYD- @jles9

PYTCAZ- @jeaton22 & @max_hairston

Triple Jump- @sammyjojumps

Middle School- Love and Styron

Thank you to everyone that spent time with my girl. I take away from this season that she has been blessed by the LORD to be athletically and mentally gifted to do track and field at a national level. Which excites me most because she really loves this sport and takes her craft seriously. 2026 we enjoyed ya!

Peyton finishes the season at nationals with a status of all-American in these events:

Triple Jump 2nd place
200 meter hurdles 3rd place
100 meter hurdles 4th place

Lastly I want to thank all the friends and family that contributed to our trip to nationals. Make sure you remind me so Peyton can send a personal thank you video. Love yall!

See yall Lord willing, in 2027.

LAST PRACTICE 🙌🏾

To my coaches and teammates, you push me harder than I knew I could be pushed. When I got sick, you still showed up and fought with me to get back here. No one I’d rather do it with! @fieldofs , thank you for always believing in me!

I gave everything I had this season! Ready to leave it all out on the track next week 🌟🇺🇸

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF TRIPLE JUMP! 🗣️

This was such a fun day! I don’t get to practice TJ very often and when I got sick I wasn’t able jump or train it at all for two months. I went in to the state meet with the goal of just getting some consistent marks before I got back to training

1st attempt - scratch 😅
2nd attempt/1st video - 11.41m, a new PR and broke the state record. It was so fun having the coaches from all the teams out there celebrate with me, it is part of what makes me love TJ!
3rd attempt/2nd video - 11.58m and if you can’t tell by my face, I was SHOCKED 😳 I am not sure I thought I’d hit 38’ at all this season, especially after getting sick. New PR and new 13-14 girls all-time state record 🌟

Chasing 39’ at Nationals next week 🙏🏽 can’t wait to jump with and cheer for all the triple jumpers coming out of AZ 🌵

Triple Jump middle phase work!

This young athlete is the fabulous @peytonyates10 !! She is currently ranked second in the nation for her age group in the event.

We wanted to work on improving her middle phase. First I needed her to put more force into the jump, then we focused on keeping her front leg in a tighter blocked “L” position. Once she was doing those two things more consistently we emphasized keeping full extension through her jump leg.

Overall the session was fantastic! We have one more to tidy of a few things before sending her off to Nationals. If you want to help support her journey to the big stage visit her page and donate!

If you want to learn the jumps or work to improve yours my August times just opened up! If interested message me ASAP. They are going quick!

August training times all at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale
