⚡️SHARED SPACE ⚡️is an evening centered around process, experimentation, and connection. The performance features works-in-process by Fermata Ballet Collective artists alongside a workshop piece created collaboratively over the course of the four-day series. ⚡️⚡️ as within, so without (work-in-progress) Choreographed by A(laj)a Badalich, In collaboration and danced by with FBC resident & guest artists

The evening also concludes with opportunities for audience participation through a post-show Q&A and conversation with the artists, creating an open exchange between performers and community members. ⚡️SHARED SPACE ⚡️ is designed to give audiences a deeper peek into FBC’s creative process while fostering curiosity, dialogue, and shared experience through movement.

I had the pleasure of drawing @the_big_scare @acloudoutloud and @najasband at the May Day celebration yesterday at the downtown park blocks. All of these artists’ music and the speakers that day helped me feel like we belong to a longer history of struggle for liberation.
