Autumn Is Officially On Tap. 🍻🍂
Raising a glass to fall/winter at @grimmtavern in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn where craft brews, elevated tavern bites, and cozy outdoor vibes make the perfect recipe for a seasonal night out.

Think soft pretzels, dry-aged smash burgers with beef tallow fries, and a little something for every palate. The best part? The Find Your Grimm tasting experience, where you can work with the team to create a mini flight of ales, IPAs, sours, and more. Add Physica Wines, cocktails, and seasonal nonalcoholic drinks, and there’s a reason to raise a glass for everyone.

Consider this your sign to put a Brooklyn tavern night on your agenda. Cheers! 🍺

Pinch me!

Please look at who just joined us as the new member of our sommelier team @chambers.nyc !The one-and-only, sommelière exceptionnelle , citizen of the world, incarnated hospitalitarian, and just kick-ass trailblazer & trailgrazer : Linda Milagros Violago @trailgrazer99 !

Linda and I are going back many many moons, when we met in Paris, then our paths crossed numerous times over the years including when she agreed to join the team to open RT 2.0 where she was amazing! She taught me so much with all her incredible experiences in some of the greatest restaurants, vineyards, kuras, breweries, etc. all over the world including this extraordinary lunch at Mugarritz where I also met @chavarroalejo . She also seeded the grain of yoga in my mind and I am forever thankful for it 🧘‍♀️.
So we are beyond happy and honored to have her join @chambers.nyc !

Please come and say hi, you will be in for a magical wine, food & human experience.

Welcome Linda !

Cafe Bar J.F. (@cafebarjf) is a South American-inspired tavern in Williamsburg from restaurateur Juan Correa (Llama Inn, Llama San, Papa San) and chef Francisco Castillo, whose résumé includes Boragó in Santiago, Central in Lima, Amelia in San Sebastián, and Llama San. It takes over the former Llama Inn space at 50 Withers Street and blends influences from Peru, Chile, and Argentina, built around Castillo’s nostalgia-driven cooking. The 55-seat room, designed by Madrid’s Plantea Estudio in its first U.S. project, is soft and understated, with a warm neighborhood feel and a lush 21-seat rooftop patio.

The menu is inspired by how meals unfold in Lima and Santiago, with a natural flow at the table rather than strict courses. Highlights include grilled potato bread with cultured butter, little neck clams, ribeye tonnato, and arroz meloso with carnaroli, topped with lobster. It’s a lovely pick or a relaxed date night or a long dinner with friends.

Being a child to immigrant parents means knowing if you're not first, you're last.

Grateful to have taken home the win at the 2nd Annual Chiles en Nogada competition hosted by @delmagueymezcal and @mixteca!

Honored to be invited and congrats to everyone involved for putting together an incredible event and thanks to all the other chefs for bringing their talent and passion to the competition.

BORICUA! MORENA! 🇵🇷🎶

And I thought my nickname was LA Sunshine! Let me tell you, Mia is my twin! Sunshine all day!

Meet chef Mia, the woman behind Mía’s Cocina. She brought ALL the good energy to Chef JJ’s Cookout at the NYC Wine and Food Festival on Sunday.

A lifelong Lower East Side resident, Chef Mia learned to cook alongside her wela (Abuela for those who are wondering) who taught her that Puerto Rican food is about so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s about family, storytelling, and connection.

And let me tell you, that spirit is alive and well in Chef Mia!

We sang, we laughed, and Yes, I grabbed a spoon. Before you say anything, just know that Dairy and I have a complicated relationship. But for that night…. I just had to taste her Flan. It was everything!!!!

Chef Mia is dreaming big, too. She’s hoping to get her flan into stores, and my Pom-Poms are in the air for her.

This is one of my favorite things about being out in these streets with Black Girls Eat. The food brings us together, but the people make the experience unforgettable.

Visit her website, https://miascocina.com for flan, cooking classes and catering.
