✨ The First Annual Legacy Gala ✨

An unforgettable evening of glamour, excellence, and connection. The first annual Legacy Gala brought together Atlanta’s accomplished professionals for a sophisticated holiday celebration rooted in purpose and community.

From the elegance in the room to the powerful conversations shared, this gathering was a reflection of what happens when leaders come together to celebrate achievement, ambition, and the relationships that shape our future. The Legacy Gala was not just a celebration—it was a statement of what’s possible when intention meets excellence.

We didn’t need a starter’s gun to kickoff Friendsgiving season. Instead, we opted for shakers full of @edmondshonorbourbon, bites by @creatingwithjosh and @samandizzyssweets - all swathed in chic by @thejmadison. ‘Tis the season, right! And, we’ve only just begun.

Comeback Power💪🏽
Summer has come to an end, and school is back in full swing. June brought its share of challenges and tough moments, but July was a powerful reminder of God’s continued faithfulness. If you know me, you know I keep it real — and while that honesty can sometimes get me into “good trouble,” it’s always worth it! I mention “good trouble” because I found myself deeply moved by a protest inspired by John Lewis this month, which resonated strongly with what’s been going on in my own life — the timing felt almost poetic.
We all have a right to speak up and stand for what’s right, and I did just that in July. I advocated for youth scholarship opportunities, connected with incredible women focused on personal empowerment, and even had some fun — dancing the night away at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour. Watching her break barriers as the first Black artist to win Best Country Album and the first Black woman to win Album of the Year since Lauryn Hill in 1999 was nothing short of inspiring.
July reminded me of my power — and I claimed it back in a big way! Take a look at all the greatness that unfolded this past month. Now, let’s see what August has in store!
