2️⃣ feature films. 2️⃣ distribution deals. And this one… hit differently. ❤️🎬 Watching a theater full of people laugh, cry, and connect with A Snowbound Christmas reminded me why we do this. So many people told us this wasn’t just a Christmas movie, it was a story that needed to be told. A story about love, forgiveness, family, and seeing the beauty and value in people with disabilities. Giving a voice to those who are too often overlooked has always been at the heart of @lakefrontpictures. It filled my heart to share it with our cast, and crew and family this weekend! Thankful for these two to help bring this magic to life and help share it with! My amazing ⭐️ and on- screen sister 🫶🏻🤍👯‍♀️ The scene-stealer in the flesh! Dearest from jr high! Announcing our newest feature film with our production company 🎥 …. A SNOWBOUND CHRISTMAS !! 🎄❄️⛄️ Who is ready for the holidays to come early! 🎁 We cannot wait to celebrate with our cast and crew the wrap and success showing them a completed film! This 92 mn movie 🍿 took us 50 days in post with a ton of VFX snow, (some practical), all edit, sound, color and post, plus deliverables to our distributor…. (Who will be announced soon!) Huge victory to have our full feature in the can! Fun FACT: 🧑‍🎄 Our amazing editors were 2️⃣ days behind our filming schedule editing while we were filming on set! 2 days after wrap we had our first rough cut edit! ✍️ wowza! Deadlines and timelines so we can be on your screens this Christmas! So get ready!

1️⃣ week. One week until we see our entire cast and crew. One week til our screening at this theatre, & wrap party, and tonight I sat in a theater watching @asnowboundchristmas on the big screen, during our final screen test. Seeing the @lakefrontpictures logo fill the screen hit me in a way I can’t quite describe. Our 2️⃣nd feature. My second time getting an MG (minimum guarantee of financing from a distributor) People often see the finished movie, but they don’t always see the countless hours behind it. Producing means wearing a hundred hats; raising financing, hiring crew, negotiating contracts, securing locations, putting out fires, handling SAG paperwork, insurance, payroll, transportation, schedules, post-production, deliverables, and solving problem after problem when things don’t go according to plan. And somehow, after months of hard work, our entire team accomplished something I’m incredibly proud of: ✨ We made a feature film with an incredible cast & crew ✨ We edited it/completed post-production in 50 days. ✨ We met our distributor’s deadline. ✨ We delivered the film. ✨ And now, it’s ready to be seen. 🥹I can now officially join the WGA and PGA… There were moments of exhaustion, stress, and wondering if we’d make it. But tonight, sitting in that theater, I was reminded why we do this. I cried tonight thinking about how many sleepless nights, pacing my hallways… just to get here. Because stories matter. Because dreams that seem impossible can become real. And because a group of passionate people came together and made a movie. Because our Executives believe in us. In just one week, we’ll celebrate with our cast, crew, family, friends, and everyone who helped make this journey possible. I still can’t believe I get to say these words… 🎄 We made another film.

2 years ago, A Snowbound Christmas was just an idea. 🎬❄️ Today, we officially completed the entire post-production process. We wrapped filming April 5, 2026. Today we delivered the entire 4K render, DCP and music and audio stems to our distributor; 50 days later - the fastest post production process for a 85 mn film. There were moments this film felt impossible; fundraising, production challenges, sleepless nights, edits, sound, color, VFX, deliverables, distributor negotiations, but we kept pushing forward. What makes this moment especially meaningful to me is that this is now my SECOND feature film that I’ve personally helped write, produce, finance, and successfully sell for distribution. Coming from a background in sales and business development before fully stepping into filmmaking, I learned early on that making a movie is only half the battle — getting it financed and distributed is an entirely different challenge. I raised all the funding for this film, oversaw production and post-production, and we successfully secured MGs (minimum guarantees), something many independent filmmakers work years to achieve even once. We’ve done it TWICE As an autistic filmmaker, actress, writer, and producer, I’ve spent much of my life being told what I wouldn’t be capable of doing. Having to try hard to fit in, push myself in, but I stepped back and decided to do something on my own. Finishing projects like this reminds me why resilience matters more than fear or doubt. Independent filmmaking is not glamorous most days. It’s problem-solving, sacrifice, long nights, pressure, leadership, and continuing forward when things feel impossible. When people doubt you, think it’s just a “hobby” and discourage you. But seeing a project finally cross the finish line makes every challenge worth it. I’m incredibly grateful to our cast, crew, investors, supporters, and everyone who believed in this journey. So many talented people helped bring this story to life, and I can’t wait to share more of it with you all soon. More bts content, updates, and sneak peeks are coming soon. This is only the beginning. 🎥✨ Ps: Running into Jay Leno, after the movie was the icing !🧁
