POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The hypercreativity of our generation is a currency we proudly celebrate and harness at Mind Musings.

With CREATIVITY as one of our six core values, we believe in using creative expression to stir conversations, share stories, and create meaningful experiences.

This year’s ILLUMINATION is no different. We are bringing mental health and creativity together through Film. Our first ever film! A new creative experience, a new way to tell stories, and a new way to have conversations around mental health.

Trust us, there’s more to come. Stay close for registration announcements.

ILLUMINATION is a transformative creative arts event that raises mental health awareness and spreads the message of light, hope, and recovery through diverse artistic expressions.

By using art as a catalyst for conversation, ILLUMINATION challenges stigma, fosters empathy, and inspires communities to see that even in life’s darkest moments, hope can still shine.

This November, ILLUMINATION will enter the world of film, using the power of storytelling to bring mental health experiences into focus. Film can make the unseen visible, turn statistics into human stories, challenge assumptions, and create space for difficult conversations.

Stay connected for RSVP details!

Were you in the room at ILLUMINATION 2025?

ILLUMINATION 2025 marked the inaugural edition of Mind Musings’ transformative creative arts event, using an Art Exhibition to raise mental health awareness and spread messages of light, hope, and recovery.

Bringing together young people, artists, and mental health advocates, the event challenged stigma and inspired meaningful conversations. It encouraged communities, particularly African communities, to approach mental health with greater understanding, compassion, and openness. More than an exhibition, it demonstrated how creativity can inspire hope, foster recovery, and drive lasting social change.

Say “hiii” in the comments if you were in the room. We would love to give you a shout-out.

This year has already been such a beautiful journey for us. 🌸

From outreaches and community conversations to 9 Mind Musings Academy sessions and even taking our work beyond Nigeria to Rwanda, we’ve witnessed so much growth.

And yet, there’s something else we’ve been working on.

Something we’re really excited to share with you.

Can you guess? Drop your guesses in the comment.🤭
