We are excited to announce that applications are open for the 2026 El Jam Mexico!

In the face of these times of upheaval, collapsing human systems, loss, and painful confusion, we can sometimes feel isolated in the midst of it all.

Yet chaos and imbalance also open the door to repositioning, rebuilding, and the birth of something new—something that will require both us and others—individuals, groups, and communities.

And what if that is precisely the first step?

Understanding that we cannot do it alone—that, in reality, we were always meant to walk this path together.

The Jam is a gathering where 25 of us come together to explore what emerges when we can simply be—sharing without masks, feeling safe and heard, and practicing new ways, tools, and structures to co-create other worlds.

These are worlds where we open space to cultivate wonder, curiosity, creativity, answers, and the joy that arises when we listen to the life that seeks to flow through us.

From this place, El JAM Mexico 2026 emerges: a four-day experience with 25 other people. Through deep listening, meaningful conversations, shared knowledge, and practical tools, we foster self-discovery and personal strengthening—drawing on our community connection and the richness of our diversity.

A friendly reminder to register for our Community Call series this month with Mónica Carreño Villegas.

We are offering the same workshop, Mapping Our Inner Ecosystems, on two days: July 28th at 3pm PT/6PM ET and July 30th at 2PM UTC/ 7:30pm IST. You may register for both.

Also- remember Community Calls are open to friends and family beyond the Jamily so if anyone in your life has been curious about the Jams, they can also join in!

While we will use the metaphor of maps as a symbolic representation of a physical location, we’ll use maps as a framework to access, document, and draw our inner landscapes.

Using mapping as an extended metaphor opens new doors. Rather than hyper focus on getting clear on “our ultimate destination” maps can give us a mirror; a reflection of our lives in this present moment.

Please bring paper and colored markers/pens/pencils with you.

Jam Leader Mónica Carreño Villegas will be leading our next community call!

Mónica is generously offering the same workshop twice to support our global community and our multiple time zones - and yes you are welcome to join both! :)

Mapping Our Inner Ecosystems is a 90 minute call taking place on July 28th at 3pm PT/6PM ET AND July 30th at 2PM UTC/ 7:30pm IST.

In this Community Call, she will use Social Presencing Theater (SPT) - a guided movement exercise to observe, allow, and come across what feels stuck in the body and to explore: how would it look like to open space for yourself, your breath?

While we will use the metaphor of maps as a symbolic representation of a physical location, we’ll use maps as a framework to access, document, and draw our inner landscapes.

Using mapping as an extended metaphor opens new doors. Rather than hyper focus on getting clear on “our ultimate destination” maps can give us a mirror; a reflection of our lives in this present moment.

The application deadline for the North America Leadership Jam 2025 is in 2 days!!!

Calling all dreamers, doers, and disrupters of the status quo.

If you're someone who cares deeply about healing our communities, challenging injustice, and reimagining what’s possible — this is your invitation.

The North America Leadership Jam 2025 is gathering 24 courageous and compassionate changemakers for a transformative 7-day experience unlike any other. From 1st to 8th September, nestled in the serene beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains, we’ll come together not just to connect — but to listen deeply, feel fully, and imagine boldly.

This is not your typical retreat. It’s a living, breathing space to slow down and tend to what matters — to examine the intersections of our lives and leadership, to uncover truths within ourselves, and to co-create visions of collective liberation and belonging. Through dialogue, play, silence, and song, we’ll build the kind of trust that can move mountains.

Whether you're an activist, artist, educator, organizer, healer, or something in between — if you're seeking a space to grow, grieve, and galvanise — the Jam is for you. Come as you are. Leave with renewed purpose, lifelong friendships, and a deeper sense of how to lead from wholeness.
