"If you are not doing anything Friday at 1:00, I'm ringing the bell."

About 30 people showed up.

She had no idea what her friends Detria and Stephanie had planned. Balloons. Clappers. Flowers. A printed program. Custom cookies.

Friends. Family. Staff who cared for her through chemo. Her oncologist.

Some friends drove 150 miles. A retired flight attendant hopped on a plane to make it back in time.

The cancer center said it was the biggest bell ringing ceremony they'd ever had.

When @moniquecheeks turned the corner and saw everyone, she lost it. "Complete with my big ugly cry."

Then Monique rang the bell to mark her last chemo treatment.

Then she looked around the room. Three or four of her friends there were breast cancer survivors too.

"This is celebrating you as well."

What Monique's bell ringing taught me about showing up:

- You don't need an invitation to celebrate someone
- Distance is a choice, not an excuse
- The finish line is for everyone who walked the road

When I finished radiation this year, my people celebrated me too, and I broke down. Being celebrated is its own kind of hard to receive.

Finally got to meet one of my dear customers in person after only knowing her through Instagram. ❤️

Meeting you, @moniquecheeks was such a joy. Thank you for spending time with me in Atlanta—it felt like catching up with an old friend. Moments like these remind me that Soul Revival is about so much more than jewelry. It’s about the incredible people I’ve been blessed to meet along the way.

So grateful for you, Monique. ❤️
