I love it here. We reads books together. Go on long bike rides for pastries. Then I get to teach a bunch of people — many of them women — how to lift heavy things 💕💕

Last night one of our members celebrated her 1 yr Barbell Basics anniversary 🎉 We looked back at her numbers from last year and compared them to the last couple of weeks. A year ago her back squat was 65lbs for 4 reps. Last night she did 220lbs for 5 reps!!

Bench press? Last year she started at 50lbs for 6 reps. Last night? Multiple sets of 85lbs for 5 reps!

I’m blown away and we haven’t even talked about her deadlift numbers yet! There was so much untapped strength just waiting to be explored. It’s such a privilege to be part of helping women like Amanda explore their strength and walk alongside them through their fitness journey.

I believe that every person has a superpower exercise (with or without the barbell).
We’d love to help you find yours 💕
