Tonight was our school’s first ever Phoenix Frolic- a family night of wellness and nutrition. It was a beautiful way to get to share my love of yoga and overall wellness with our community…and spend some time practicing yoga with my lovely friend @moniquegoad_morejoy. I work at such a cool school! We had a mural created by our talented art teachers, nutrition from Anschutz medical, a dance workout, pickling demo @knowyourrootspickles,
gym orientation, sip ‘n paint (with hot cocoa) and a silent disco. So much fun! Thanks to all my colleagues who made this an incredible night for our Families & Community. (Rebecca, Dayla, Missy, Cait, Josh, Liberty, etc, etc, etc).

Although I’ve been practicing yoga for over 18 years, Yoga on the Rocks always seemed too intimidating. This has been a year full of growth as I’ve opened up to the 8 limbs of yoga. Asteya- non-stealing, don’t steal opportunities from yourself.
