Creating organic ceramic vessels that grow into chimeric sculptures with flowers.

~

I started learning ikebana about a year ago,
because I wanted nature to complete my ceramic creatures.

I envision organic vessels as forms in progress,
waiting to grow beyond clay.

Through flowers, they become chimeric sculptures,
somewhere between the handmade and the living.

Flowers became a continuation of my poetic language in clay.
