Freaky Friday edition. Best name in cardboard history and the first starting QB in Miami Dolphins history. Contrary to urban legend, he did not work in the adult film industry 😇 @monster.cards

Check this out! 1936 Time Magazine featuring the Great Lou Gehrig and equally impressive Carl Hubbell. Baseball sure was special then. Where or where have you gone yesterday’s heroes?

A couple weeks ago I ventured 🚗 to the Capital City Card Con 🌽 in Des Moines, Iowa! For one of the best shows in the country no question. Had a blast setting up with my guy Tony aka @monster.cards and picking up both Vintage & Modern 🔥 and just soaking in everything that makes this show special. 💯

Every show here seems to always gets better than the last. The passion, the stories, the laughs 😂, Collectors from all walks of life, and tables packed full of cardboard! This is the heartbeat of our hobby 💎…and it all reminds me why I fell in ❤️ with the hobby in the first place. This show truly brings it all together. 🙌

Also MASSIVE shoutout to Brian @capital_city_card_convention x his team for organizing yet again another outstanding show! 🤝

And to Justin & the Hi-5 Sports Cards Crew @hi5comicsandcards for always throwing down some incredible Trade Nights during the show. Please 🙏 check them out!!!

It’s clear why this has become one of best shows around! See y’all in March 🍀
