Final NICA race before state! (ACK!) I told everybody the night before my race, "I think Vernal is a good riding course but not a good racing course." Turns out it was a good racing course! Thanks to my amazing competitors and best friends @miabcbaker and @marin.rendle! (Hope you guys had fun at hoco!)

Also, thanks to @montaguecoaching, @tooelevalleymtb, and @maybirdcycling for pushing me to be the best possible version of myself!

To be honest I really didn’t want to post this race, but I believe that we should learn from our failures and not resent them.

This was my first 3 lap race, I had a great first 2 laps but once I started the 3rd lap both of my calf’s and both of my quads started to cramp. I was in the mid to top 30’s after the second lap and dropped down to p62.

Kind of a chaotic race day. Between the stitches and the rain, I wasn't even sure if I was going to be racing, but I guess everything worked out! Low key, glad we only did one lap, though 🙃😅 thanks @miabcbaker, and @marin.rendle for pushing me so hard! Love yall! 🫶

Thank you to @montaguecoaching, @tooelevalleymtb, and @maybirdcycling for making such an amazing race day. BTW, I love the bike, @canyon_mtb!

XC Day 14: NICA Snowbaisn
This is where my XC training gets put to the test and I’m excited to see what I can do. I started the race in 25th and was able to make it up to 12th. I’m pretty happy with the result knowing it was a tough course to pass on and I know I’ve got more gas in the tank to make it up some positions 😈😤

MTB national champs 2026

XCC p9- started second row and missed my clip off the start. I think it would’ve been a different race if I had a good start. I’m happy that I was able to fight my way back and ended similar to where I started.
XCO p8- started front row!! Had a great start (avoided the crash) and was able to throw down some fast laps.

I am definitely hungry for more racing! Racing with back pain all season wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but it taught me to listen to my body and be patient. Not all races go the way you want, all that matters is that you show up and do your best. It was so hard going out and not being able to put my power down or being injured from crashes. As @dandraperoutside always says, TBY.

To my team, thank you for having my back at all the races and all of the support you have given me. I have learned so much from being a part of this team, and I am so happy to be able to call myself a bear 🐻

To my coach, @montaguecoaching, thank you for helping me navigate the messy parts, adjusting the plans, and helping me grow stronger. I couldn’t have done it without all of the work you put into the training plan or the effort you put into checking in and seeing how I’m feeling.

To my friends that I have met along the way, seeing you at the finish line, the start, or even around the races has helped me realize that the biking community is my family. You make it so much fun and you are all the reason these races are so memorable

To my family, thank you for being there behind the scenes. Your support has meant the world to me. Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. None of this would’ve been a reality without you. I love you ❤️

XCO US National Championships!

I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me, from helping me get to the start line, to the countless texts, cheers on course, and words of encouragement. It truly means the world to me.

At the beginning of this season in March, I was lining up at the back of the 15–16 field, constantly asking myself, “Do I even belong here?” and “These girls are so fast… what am I doing here?” That mental battle was one of the hardest parts of the season, and honestly, it’s something I’m still working on.

Crossing the finish line at US Nationals in 3rd was such a special moment, not just because of the result, but because it showed me what’s possible when you keep believing, even when it’s hard. Getting to race alongside and share the experience with such incredible competitors made it even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me before I fully believed in myself, @eshuser, @altus.racing, my amazing coach @kysonmontague, @podora, my family, and so many others who reminded me every day that I belonged on that start line.

I still have so much to learn, but I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep pushing my limits, both physically and mentally.

The journey is just getting started. ❤️

National Championships XCC

A year ago, I never would have imagined I’d be lining up at a National Championship, let alone racing with some of the fastest girls in the country. Every race, every challenge, and every opportunity reminds me how much can change when you’re willing to just keep showing up.
