[20 Oct 2026 🎌] HKG->FUK 🛩️ 真J
I have a ad hoc vacation to Fukuoka/Hakata by CX 🛩️🍱 and I enjoy a cake & iced latte 🍰🧋 at Lady M in HK Airport. After landing, I take a taxi and settling down at ANA Crown Plaza, I have a walk around Hakata City 🎡. I quickly enter KAGAYA (9F Hakata City) for kaiseki cuisine 🍱🍵 which’s satisfying ✌🏻, and seafood-xiaolungbao + chicken soup in Din-Tai-Fung next door 🥢. As time is tight (16:00), I rush to Sumiyoshi Shrine (which closes 17:00) for a tour ⛩️. The Shrine is just 5-min walk from Crown Plaza, and it’s very Kyoto-vibe. I then have a walk in Hakata City (TokyuHands, Beams) 🛍️. I return to hotel and enjoy kaiseki-dinner in Chikushino (15F Crown Plaza) 🍱. It’s relaxing to dine course by course by a Japanese garden on the roof.

My biggest regret in Finland was not trying enough local cuisine, mostly because I didn’t know where to find it! But I CAN HAVE A DO-OVER and do it RIGHT this time. @ourfinland there couldn’t be a more perfect applicant than me! (@moomin agrees)

Finally getting my Moomin mug cabinet filled! 🥹 It didn’t turn out quite as nice as I imagined, and let’s just say I’m definitely not an influencer 😂 I clearly need better lighting! But hey, the mugs are finally in their home, and that’s what matters.
