We LOVED the Kaffeine Latte Art Finals on Friday!! So many phenomenal competitors, some fantastic pours and barely any spillages all night long! It’s always an honour to see so many exceptional baristas pouring perfection at one of the finest institutions of specialty coffee in the world. Thankyou so much to Peter and his incredible team for an amazing evening and congratulations to the new champion @wuwucoffee !! Always a joy to sponsor this great, great competition 🙏

A morning serving Chevas #62 at Moonstruck, followed by an afternoon talking about Roast Cards: why we built them, what they show, and how the coffee in your bag connects to the batch we roasted. Thank you to Liam and the Moonstruck team for having us, and to everyone who came for a coffee, stayed for the talk or asked a question. Every coffee we roast has a reference profile, developed through roasting, tasting and refining. You can explore it on the coffee’s product page, from roast time and first crack to development. But the Roast Card that matters most is the one tied to your bag. When your order ships, your email includes the data from the actual batch your coffee came from. You can see how your coffee was roasted and compare it with the profile we set out to achieve. Explore Roast Cards at glasscoffee.co.uk.

Chevas · Geisha Washed #62 A washed Geisha from Boquete, Panama, releasing exclusively at Moonstruck on Saturday 26 September. José Luis is a young producer exploring what’s possible through careful selection and experimentation with processing. His coffee felt like a fitting choice to share as we take the next step with Roast Cards. Join us for a pour-over of Chevas and a chat from 11am to 1pm. At 4pm, we’ll talk about how we’ve been developing Roast Cards and introduce the roast record for the batch behind your bag, so you can trace the coffee in your online order back to the batch we roasted.
