@jaketferriero and @moonswell.wav are back for a second round of this unique pop-up class.

Sunday 9/20
11am - 12:30pm

Balance and Harmony: Vinyasa Unplugged

Take a break from this overwhelmingly digital, algorithmic world for a deeply human vinyasa experience with live acoustic guitar score. The combination of music and Vinyasa will support a focus on connecting breath to movement to drop beneath the noise.

Instead of trying to create physical change through effort, tune into how the character of movement and music reflect and influence the emotional inner world. Breathe in conversation with the music.

Sliding scale: $15-$45

Join yoga instructor, Jihelah, and musician, Paul, for a thoughtful evening of live music and restorative yoga in support of Nepal Flood relief.

Saturday, October 17th
7:30pm - 8:45pm, PST
In-person

Please join us at the BYMC as we come together to amplify relief efforts to support families in Nepal displaced by the recent flooding. As students, teachers, and practitioners of yoga, we are extremely privileged to engage daily with practices and traditions deeply rooted in the Himalayas, including places like Nepal. Yogic philosophy encourages us to translate our yoga into action- which includes pouring our attention, care, and resources back into the regions and communities that we have so greatly benefited from.

Jihelah Greenwald will be providing a slower, restorative yoga sequence while Paul Foreman performs live music. Make a donation to the fundraiser in our bio and show proof of donation evening of as your ticket in. RSVP in advance to secure your spot ❤️

Balance & Harmony: Vinyasa Unplugged

Unplug from this overwhelmingly digital, algorithmic, generated, and produced world for this deeply human vinyasa experience with a live acoustic guitar score. This class will be accompanied by live acoustic music and will focus on connecting breath to movement to drop beneath the noise into the flow state always available in the present moment. Instead of trying to create some physical change through effort, we'll tune into how the character of our movements and the music in our environment both reflect and influence our emotional inner world. We hope to cultivate a connection between the resonance of the strings on the wood body of the instrument to the resonance of the breath in the human body of each participant, as if we were breathing in conversation with the music.

Class will be taught by @jaketferriero and accompanied by musician Paul Foreman @moonswell.wav
