Grief, trauma… and microdosing. 🍄

What happens when the life you knew disappears overnight? And can microdosing help you navigate what comes after?

In our first Mabel podcast, Moony and Pernille talk grief, identity, the nervous system, microdosing, and the very messy business of finding your way forward.
What does microdosing have to do with grief? More than you might think.

Within the space of a few months, our co-host Moony’s life changed in ways she could never have prepared for. After the sudden loss of her husband, she found herself navigating not only profound grief, but the unraveling of the life and identity she had known before.

For our first Mabel podcast, Moony and Pernille sit down together to talk about grief, trauma and what it means to find your way forward when life no longer looks anything like the one you knew.

But loss takes many forms. We can grieve a relationship, a friendship, our health, a career, the future we thought we would have, or even the person we once were. And while some losses are immediately understood and acknowledged by the people around us, others can be surprisingly lonely because we don’t always recognise them as grief, sometimes not even in ourselves.

What happens to us when we lose something that mattered? What does the body carry long after the event itself? And how do we begin to build a life around what has happened, rather than simply trying to get over it?

That’s where our first conversation begins.

Is there something you would like us to discuss? Send us your questions in a DM and we may bring them into the conversation.

Moony + Pernille. Out August 31st.

Recharging with our founding venue partners @grandroatanresortandspa @kao_kamasa_spa @aleraroatan is at the heart of the Wellness Social experience.

Each venue has been thoughtfully selected because it feels calm without being cold, elevated without being intimidating, and rooted in genuine care for how people want to feel.

Wellness isn’t confined to one studio or one moment. It’s woven into the places we gather, the people we meet, and the experiences we choose.

This is what it means to belong to @womenswellnesssocialclub

Luxury is having people who celebrate your success, hold space for your growth, and inspire the woman you’re becoming

At Wellness Social, we believe wellness extends far beyond movement

It’s found in the rooms you enter
The conversations you remember
The friendships you cultivate
The life you intentionally design

Some things simply can’t be bought.
They have to be experienced

🔥 Started this AM feeling the burn with an amazing Barre class led by the incredible @natilloydf from @tempologiahn! 🩰❤️‍🔥

We are always here for all the wellness events happening on the island 🏝️🙌 and a huge thank you to @moonykoch @thewellnessatelier_ for hosting this beautiful event! ✨💛

We were definitely spoiled from the start with refreshing fresh coconuts from @cocoexperiencehn 🥥💦, followed by the perfect coffee boost from @spiritorigincoffee ☕️, and finishing with delicious, healthy açaí bowls from @arcadiacaferoatan 🍓🍌🥣

All we can say is… Barre is definitely harder than it looks! 😅 Looking forward to the next challenge! 🔥💪

And they get it. I may not have many friends, but the ones I have are worth a fortune. Blessed beyond measure. Quality over quantity.

*Remember, stay classy*

Sun, beach, food & good vibes ☀️🌊🏖️👙. Over time, I’ve learned to pivot when things don’t go the way I expected it and Mykonos wasn’t the exception. The result? I had a blast!!! I met an amazing human being @moonykoch. Couldn’t ask for a better person to spend my time on the island with.

Amazing food, there wasn’t a bad meal. Only good vibes, every where we went provided an incredible time. The locals are very welcoming as well, specially our host, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

In sum, if you ever thought about going to Mykonos, go, you’ll have an amazing time. We will be going back for sure 2027!!
