@moortowngroup continues with Xwatch Safety Solutions part of @hexagon_ab 👇

Another smart Xwatch Safety Solutions installation completed by Tom Dacosta, this time on a JCB 145XR for Moortown Group.

The @jcbmachines 145XR is built for restricted job sites, sitting in the 15- to 18-tonne tracked excavator class and offering a 27% shorter tailswing than a conventional model. With its ultra-tight slew radius, it is well-suited to urban, highway and confined working environments where space is limited but performance still matters.

This latest Moortown machine has been fitted with XW4 technology, providing the operator with clear in-cab information on height, slew, and lifting limits. The display brings live working information together in one place, helping the operator stay aware of the machine’s position, load and working envelope while operating around site restrictions, structures, people and other plant.

Moortown Group is a well-established civil engineering and construction business with its own plant fleet, supporting major works across infrastructure, commercial and construction projects. It is also a repeat Xwatch customer, with systems now fitted across a growing number of machines in its fleet.

Moortown has used Xwatch systems on other machines in the fleet, so it is good to see another one fitted and ready for work.

The XW4 is designed to support safer machine operation without overcomplicating the job. It gives operators the information they need, where they need it — in the cab, in real time, on real sites.

A great-looking installation, a serious machine, and another example of Xwatch technology earning its place on modern construction plant.

Thanks to Moortown Group for its continued trust in the Xwatch team — and well done to Tom on another tidy install.

We spoke with Joe Lynch from Central Chambers, our headline sponsor for the Ball, about why they chose to support Fréa for a second year 💚

Joe shared what the event means to their team and why recognising their Irish connections by supporting Fréa’s work in the community is so important.

The room was filled with incredible entertainment throughout the evening and truly dazzled thanks to the fabulous décor created by @tracylavinevents ✨

A huge thank you to all our sponsors, donors and supporters who helped make this year’s Ball possible. Without you, the event simply wouldn’t be possible.

The difference your generosity makes 💚

On Saturday night we celebrated our second St Patrick’s Day Ball, and what an incredible evening it was. But as well as the music ,celebration, and community spirit, the night plays an important role in raising funds to support the vital work of the Fréa Irish charity partnership, who provide lifesaving and life changing services to Irish people of all ages in need and vulnerable across the North of England.

To everyone who attended, our sponsors, donors and all those who gave so generously, thank you. Your support helps us continue our work and make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.

Together, we are building stronger communities and brighter futures.

Aire Park

@vastintuk UK’s Aire Park project has really taken a leap in the past few weeks!

We have been busy installing @GBU cellular systems for our beautiful Gledistia trees and remediation layers of sub soil and topsoil ready for planting. We are also planting some more mature Carpinus Betula & Acer Rubrum trees tagged by the Landscape Architect @Planit all in view of the iconic Tetley building!

Vastint UK revealed a few weeks ago they were going to preserve the iconic Tetley landmark and add roof terraces and a new cellar bar while keeping historic features intact! We are proud to be involved in this and looking forward to seeing the end result! Keep an eye out for more of our landscaping works here throughout 2024 including Park Works!
