Today, I had the opportunity to serve as a panelist at the Symposium on Young American Men, a national convening focused on the social, mental health, economic, and civic challenges facing young men in America.

The data and conversation were both eye-opening. Young men are navigating questions of purpose, economic opportunity, mental health, education, and their place in our society—and those experiences are increasingly reflected in our politics.

In 2024, young men shifted significantly toward Donald Trump, while new 2026 polling shows young male voters moving in a different direction, underscoring that young men are not a monolith—and that the electorate is being awakened to the dangerous policies of Donald Trump.

The takeaway for me: we have to listen to young men, invest in their future, and create real pathways to purpose, opportunity, and meaningful work.

Grateful to have been part of this important conversation.

#best9of2017 #instagram With the 1st half of the year being one of the best periods of my life (ending in graduating from college and a summer in Brazil) to the last half, spent by really just making it through, cheers to 2018 and hopefully a very fun start to life on my own. 🥂🎉
