Here again with some of my friends’ recommendations. This time though, they’ve given me book titles on *their* TBR for this Spring. Some of these are new releases, some are seasonally appropriate, the genres vary, but ALL are closed door. Check out their accounts for more book recommendations and reviews!

Have you read any of these? Any of them also on your TBR?

Also…I may or may not have planned this post ages ago, so if you’re featured and you’ve read the book already, let me know in the comments how you liked it! Also, tag the authors!!

I firmly believe finding out the content in a book should be quick and easily accessible, especially when books nowadays aren’t marketed as containing explicit or disturbing content (looking at you, YA!). So if you want to be able to research a book before reading it, here are five ways to try to figure out if that book is right for you. 🫶🏼

Comment below if you post about CW or know of another tip to finding them! 🤗

I had the idea to feature some of my friends and a book (or a couple) that they love. These are all accounts that I love and turn to for book recommendations and reviews. The genres vary, but all of these books are closed door! I hope you’ll check out these ladies’ accounts and give them a follow if they are new to you!

Let me know, which books are you adding to your TBR? Which ones do you already love?

Had the most amazing time with bookstagrammers at a “Brrr Basket” Bookish Party. Food, friends, and talking books for hours...it was the perfect January get together! Loved sharing the book “Winterset” as it was one of my favorites of 2025. @authortiffanyodekirk

Can’t wait for our next Bookish get together!

I’ve got 12 months to read 12 books from 12 friends! I could not be more excited about this list! There are so many books I’m looking forward to and this is sure to motivate me to read them this year. So thankful to these friends for sending me their recommendations! #12x12x12 #12booksby12friends #12booksin12months

I saw @cozytaleswithash do this a while back, and I thought it would be a fun way to mention some of the books on my TBR this year.

Have you read any of these? What else is a must-read for 2026?

✨Books I loved (that I’d share with my teen daughters…)✨

Christian, clean, closed door… there are so many good books out there. Alas, just because they are labeled one of these does NOT mean they are appropriate for teens. Note: I have 5 daughters, and 4 of them are basically teens (12-15). Each of them is different. Each has varying interests and each has varying struggles.

When it comes to life, every family will have their own standard of what’s appropriate for their teens/kids (and that’s not a bad thing!). BUT one thing is for sure, as a Christian, I always want to recommend books to teens that will build them up not tear them down.

This list isn’t complete, but here are a few books I personally enjoyed and feel comfortable sharing with my own daughters:
✨Halstad House by @christymartenson (I also love Christy’s book The Christmas Cactus and so did my daughter!)
✨The Redwyn Chronicles by @madisyn_carlin (I shared the first book, but the whole series is enjoyable. No magic, Christian themes, adventure, retellings)
✨Kate’s Case Files by Sarah Holman (Honestly, I would recommend anything Sarah writes for teens! She has all her books on KU, too!)
✨The Accidental Cases of Emily Abbott by @perryelisabeth (these are so fun. Like seriously. Go read them 😉)
✨Anne of the Island by L. M. Montgomery (Anne is the best 😊)
✨Stepping Heavenward by Elisabeth Prentiss (a lesser known classic, but it’s so uplifting!)
✨Far Beyong God by @sydneymclaughlin16 (Memoirs are fantastic for teens, and this one is inspiring and also points teens to Christ.)

Later I may do a post on books others have recommended (I haven’t read) that my book worm oldest also enjoyed 😊

🎁 Have you read any of these?
🎁What books would you recommend to a teen? I’d love to get some more recs for my girls!
