24hrs, 357 miles 🥇
This was only possible thanks to my amazing friends supporting me the whole way. Logistics, nutrition, hydration, fueling, bike setup, etc. they handled everything at a Factory level- all I did was ride. The recovery this year has been a breeze and that’s only because of all their efforts. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone and everything this sport has brought to my life- I can’t express how much it all means to me, but I’ll keep doing my best to pay it forward 🤙

Thank you @stan_seehorn_memorial_24hr @sxslideplate and St. Joes + volunteers for putting on such a massive event. It’s an honor to have raced this twice. No mechanical issues or cramps, 1 blister, and only a couple small tip overs (sorry again, @anthonyjohnson_521 ) Just great people and a good way to spend 24 hours.

For the time being I’ve accomplished everything I needed to Ironmaning… tag team class for 2027? @treyrobles210

Is it too late to share my 2025 photos? Ya know, I thought it might be fun if I waited for it to already be February.
In some ways, this past year was the toughest yet. Or in many ways. But the people make the place. And well…the place makes the place. And I sure do love it here. Here’s to feeling it all yo <3

DG Prow V9/10 ✅ 2nd Try 😧

Had a pretty eventful last day (until 2026) at Lincoln Lake yesterday. Started the day off rough 🤕 but was able to do more hard climbs than I’ve ever done in a single day! Here’s the others on the ticklist:

De@th Race 2000 - V8/9 (3rd try)
Puma Pants - V8/9 (3rd try)
Fistful of Dollars - V8 (2nd try)

Shoutout to a psyched crew @climbfastplacenuts @morganblaze_ @zachtrovig for a great time bouncing around boulders 🤙🏻

Da belcho rooooof … had an excellent day ripping around emerald. This thing was cool but minus one star for dab potential.

Tried finding china cat sunflower… I think I figured out where it is, but the start holds are pretty unclear. Ended up climbing a seam that felt right but who really knows. No chalk on the wall. Shouts out to the homie whose ladder was stashed in plain sight

@morganblaze_ and I went to Indy being all like ‘we’re going rope climbing, it’ll be great’. I brought the pads for flexibility maxing and that was that…. Ended up bouldering both days and climbing only three sport rigs.

I took a 6, 7, 8, 9 day on Friday with an 11b and 12a to boot. This roofy guy is Choke Hold… soft if you can kneebar. My fave part was the double kneebar transition into the toe hook.. like how fuckin sick!! There is a fairly committing top out. I didn’t want to do it, I’ll come clean, so I’ll take the hit to my style points and do it next time

Shouts out to a great crew for a WET weekend up on Bolam… one day of festering, two days of sending. And NO WE DID NOT CLIMB ON WET SANDSTONE…

I am often confronted with a tactical decision: To optimize my beta or to just give bottom rips and gut it out??? I know the former is better but I’m a gambler and I live to gut it out. Once every few times it pays off for a fat hit of dopamine from a quick ascent. This weekend it worked on Queen of Hearts. Bottom rips are just too fun 🤠 so here we are screaming 🦅

Here is my BOTW submission: The Adventures of Choji, friggin rad line on a great day out with @morganblaze_

I read Kara Goucher’s book detailing her successful running career and experiences inside the Nike Oregon Project (thanks @sfanghorvath ). It’s excellent and I highly recommend especially if you think running is cool.

It got me thinking a lot about what fairness looks like in sport and what aids we as individuals and communities accept. I don’t by any means condone the actions of Alberto or the Oregon Project. I think there is applicability in climbing as the sport grows, though outdoor climbing is a bit different as there is no anti doping agency that I know of..? And the conditions for success are different as well?

Regardless, why is a send valid when the person ‘hang dogged’? Why is a send valid when a person used a knee pad? Why is a send valid when a person wore drones? Would an outdoor climbing send be valid if the person used testosterone?

How do we create a sport that accepts new aids and practices while privileging athletes’ safety in a culture that values winning at all costs? And retains the essence of the sport?

All that to say, I wore a left drone on this so I’m taking a personal grade of v4 A0…. And I did French free on some hooks out of sight on the top…. 😶‍🌫️

Had a great day up in Emerald yesterday showing @patdun42 all the digs and climbing lots of fun blocs. Slapped and screamed by way up this rig Swing of Things … due to popular demand I retained the camera audio so all of you can hear me screaming like a savage.

To be honest though this wasn’t really the battle of the day. A tourist wished us luck on the way up and insisted we ‘not let the boulders beat us’. We definitely didn’t!! We totally won!! Stupid boulders. @patdun42 literally fought the lip of Coffee and Cream for a good 2 minutes. It was an unreal feat of strength. She won. Again, better luck next time, boulders.

Wrapped the day with a quickie flash of Purple Drank. Really made me feel like I was pushin p
