ATTRAVERSATE, progetto, marzo 2026.

« A Walk by Candlelight »
Wax and steel

From April 23rd to June 11th

I am very glad to share you first images of my collaboration with @diptyque !
You can see the installation 7 Rue Duphot in Paris and 107 New Bond Street in London 🕯️🌸

Since 1963, the Diptyque candle has celebrated exceptional craftsmanship, where wax becomes the medium for a unique scented herbarium. Inspired by this heritage, French artist Juliette Minchin has imagined « A Walk by Candlelight », a work where nature and matter meet in perfect balance.
« We are in an imaginary garden where wax is constantly shifting from one state to another. Large wire structures at the four corners of the installation are covered in drapes of wax: sculpted like leaves, they evoke both the movement of a waterfall and the delicacy of bark. Hybrid flowers emerge and seem to bloom.
At their heart, they protect an imaginary herbarium coated in a layer of white wax, following the ancestral dipping technique used in candle making. Plant motifs reveal themselves, inspired by the Diptyque herbarium of scents.
The work is conceived as a harvest notebook, acting as a collection of dried, elements where light passes through and illuminates. »
