Say it with me: I AM ENOUGH, JUST AS I AM.

It’s been 3 full years since I left my love and life @littleskips, since my jammed-packed days and party-filled nights in #Brooklyn—and since my last rock bottom 🫠🫠🫠

I needed time to heal and mend the million little broken pieces of my soul ❤️‍🩹

In the meantime, I traveled Asia, got married, started a new business with my husband, got certified as a Recovery Pier Advocate in New York, am getting certified in Somatic Experiencing Practioner and Ayurvedic coaching (at the same time, wow 🤯!)

I also wanted to share that I’m building something that I wish I had back when I was a younger entrepreneur navigating sobriety. We are out in the world on the local @umpqua_grown online hub.

You can now find a selection of our hydrosols, our skin fat tallow balm, & tea on the web— community style. Ordering opens Saturday evenings, closes Tuesday mornings, & pickup is Thursdays from 2-6pm.

This Thursday we have some products you can shop during pickup hours. This upcoming week we will be available online!

Saying “YES!” can be scary.
Learning to say NO can feel scary.

But it takes courage to do both, for YOU—for your happiness, your peace and your progress.

I have been committed to saying yes to myself and my needs more and more as I get older. It’s not easy. I have a huge people pleasing complex— for friends and partners— and I’ve often abandoned myself for my partners or the very extreme opposite, I would constantly abandon the person who loves me the most and treats me the kindest.

I am still working on forgiving myself for so many things that have caused hurt—to myself and to others. This is part of recovery and healing—releasing the shame held in me for so long.

I’m finally in a healthier place to start building something for myself again—something that fuels my fire and lights up my heart and aligns my soul. I’m sure it will be my life’s masterpiece, but it’s a long game I am playing now—one that serves a greater purpose.

I am looking to interview a few women who are navigating recovery, sobriety and entrepreneurship (my favorite subject still:), to help me understand and develop a road map to how best I can serve. I promise it will be fun and enlightening for both of us because really how can it not be when women who are committed to themselves and a better life get to chatting?

start of summer feels

Early Spring to now feels like fond memories after a pretty massive storm that shook my core and made me question everything about who I was and who I want to be.

The seasons of my life are moving faster it seems, but I’m also doing more. Each month of my life looks so different from the last and though I didn’t ask for or expect where I would be right now, I’m just trying to bask in the glow of growth and find little moments of joy in my evolution. I guess that’s what heartache and grief can do you once you come out the other end.

And I wish the same for everyone—joy through the pain.

I finally had a breakthrough today for how I will move into my next phase in life while learning to serve and share my gifts through healing, plants, food and wellness, while never having to ever run a coffeeshop or restaurant again and I hope to figure it out enough to share it with the world soon.
