A design studio focused on space, interior and architecture — Madrid | Berlin | Quito

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hybrid Infrastructure Doble Erre by Morphism @morphism.studio, completed in Madrid, Spain, in 2026, converts a former pastry cold-storage facility into a flexible setting for art, design and technology. 🧩 Across 215 m², exhibition areas, workshops, a kitchen and courtyard support the studio of Roberto Rivadeneira and Irene Molina alongside residencies, fabrication and collaborations. Opening an internal façade brings daylight across the warehouse and connects its working spaces directly with the courtyard. ☀ Rather than fixing individual functions, the layout allows workshops, displays and technical areas to change according to use, while diagonal elements shape circulation. Anodised steel, mesh and reflective surfaces retain an industrial character, balanced by timber in rest areas. 🔧
This is where @doble__erre_ creative space operates now.

On Saturday 27 June we opened the doors for the launch of @ode_objects — a project we've been quietly building inside the studio for a while now.

Objects made from the same machines, the same research, the same hands that make everything else here. Just closer to the everyday.

Thank you to everyone who came, stayed, and made it feel like something.
We presented 10 vase and 2 cup designs from our first collection; all available on the website and in the studio.

The installation we built for the occasion stays up until the end of August. If you want to visit, send us a message.

@ode_objects is a project ran by our studio members @_gamzeyalcin_ @aquilesjarrin @irenemolina_ & @rivadeneira____

On Saturday 27 June, we are happy to present the launch of @ode_objects at our space in Madrid.

ODE is our in-house project; a blend of design, technology and everyday objects. Cups, vases, textiles, furniture. A project born from our artistic exploration as a design studio, shaped by research and a long-term view.
Come see the installation build by @morphism.studio for this event, and discover the objects.

At Awawa, Ecuador's Interactive Science Museum in Quito, learning begins with wonder. Designed by morphism inside a repurposed textile factory, the 16,000-square-foot early-childhood gallery transforms contemporary pedagogy into an immersive landscape of play, movement, and discovery.

Named after the Kichwa word for "girl/boy," the permanent installation unfolds across 13 interconnected environments inspired by the natural world—from “The Anthill” and “The Lianas” to “The Cloud Forest.” Each zone encourages tactile exploration and sensory engagement while drawing from Amazonian worldviews centered on empathy, reciprocity, and interdependence.

Pressed wood from responsibly managed forests, recycled Tetra Pak, and bio-rubber flooring reinforce the project’s environmental ethos, proving that educational design can be both deeply imaginative and materially thoughtful.

4 months of playing and running @doble__erre_.
A beautiful space that started like a vague dream and has shifted our lives, ideas and possibilities.
Thank you to everyone that has been part of it over these months!
The program is getting hotter just like the Madrid weather.

(@pauliffb @kapchiypublicidad @miradisenoec)
