This weekend Flat Danley and his Yale team visited Museum of Fine Arts in Batumi where we explored works showcasing Georgian and Russian artistic traditions. It was a rich opportunity for our students to connect visual culture with history, and see how art reflects both different voices and shared influences in the region. @yalestudyabroad @yalesummersession

This weekend our students explored Batumi Technology museum and discovered the fascinating legacy of the Nobel brothers whose innovations spurred Batumi’s industrial transformation. We also learned about rich tea-growing tradition and the role it played in development of Adjara region. A wonderful day of learning, history and cultural discovery beyond the classroom! #yalesummersession #yalerussianingeorgia #thenobelbrothers #batumi #summerabroad

Very grateful for the exciting days at @yale ! Many thanks to @moskvichka12 and to the very attentive audience! I will remember this concert for a long time. It was especially great that we could perform the premiere of Chroma - a collaborative synesthetic composition by my friend and colleague Daniel Moser and me.

Yesterday we had a wonderful trip to Batumi Botanical Garden, one of the largest botanical gardens covering 111 hectares. It was established in 1912 by the prominent Russian botanist Andrei Krasnov who is also buried there, according to his will.
