POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I've been really enjoying my Honesuki lately and thought I should post it sometime. Then this morning, Neil over at @discommon did a story encouraging people to just make the thing, and if they had made a thing, to post it and tag them. So, here's my Honesuki, for my fourth crack at making knives, I'm really happy with it. The handle feels great. My first try at a compound grind works exactly as I hoped it would. And I just really like it. So if you've always wanted to make something and you've got the chance, give it a try! #knifemaking #honesuki #mossbladeworks #spaltedmaple #ebony

Today's carry, with a couple stabilized spalted maple handle blocks for my next project. I hope I do the wood justice. Don't worry, I'll finish the Chute knives first... as long as I don't ruin them. Hollow grinding is hard and choosing Loveless' classic design might not have been a wise starting place 😅.

#fixedbladefriday with this cool little kiridashi. I've used this knife a lot since I made it, I'm quite pleased with its ergonomics and cutting ability.

The Boss helping me today at the future site of @mossbladeworks... fun stuff on the horizon 😁. (I fully expect to be crap for quite a while, but I also expect the learning will be fun.)
