A wellbeing brand that’s busy, warm and full of life, not sterile and minimal. 🔮 @motherdesign built the brand identity for Keen, an online marketplace for psychic guidance, so that seeking a human perspective feels as natural as opening a mindfulness app. The circle became the compass of the identity, giving the brand containment, focus and unity. Colourful framing devices and rounded forms carry through from the logo to every touchpoint. Made something with real care? Send it in via the link in bio.

Mother Design's new identity reframes the Keen psychic guidance platform around clarity, perspective, and guidance in the everyday. The brand world is richly illustrated and rejects conflating clarity with minimalism. See more at gdusa.com. #gdusa #branding

Illustration is a brand’s ‘it piece’ right now. Especially of the hand drawn variety. Beautiful work from Mother and María Jesús Contreras to bring Keen to life with personality and adventure. #illustration #design #art #brand #marketing

Keen by Mother Design @motherdesign For 25 years, Keen has connected people with psychics, building a loyal but niche audience. The challenge was to reposition the brand for a broader wellness audience and redefine a category being reshaped by wellness tech and AI. Research revealed that Keen’s real value lies in human intuition, perspective, and connection. This insight informed an immersive illustrated world inspired by astronomy and the overview effect, using circular forms to create a sense of focus and perspective. Energetic typography, earthy red tones, and a warm conversational voice bring ancient wisdom into a modern wellness space. The result is a maximalist, soulful identity that makes psychic guidance feel as accessible and relevant as checking an astrology app.

Brand Identity, Typography, Editorial, Motion, Digital Experience, Place Branding, Wayfinding까지.

Keen by @motherdesign Keen has spent 25 years connecting people to psychics, earning a loyal but niche fanbase. The brief was expanding that reach for a mass-wellness audience, redefining not just Keen but a category left behind while wellness tech and AI chatbots boomed. Research revealed the real value was human intuition and perspective, not fortune-telling of old. That insight shaped an immersive, illustrated world built on circular motifs drawn from astronomy and the overview effect, offering containment and focus within life’s complexity. A wordmark fusing energetic curves with symmetrical letterforms, earthly red tones, and a warm, conversational voice bring ancient wisdom into modern relevance. The result is a maximalist, soulful alternative to sterile wellness minimalism, one that makes talking to a psychic feel as natural as checking an astrology app. #branding #brandidentity #branddesign

Wellness branding has a bit of a uniform: white space, muted tones, rounded type, gentle promises. @motherdesign just ripped it up. 👀 Keen is a psychic-guidance platform, and the brief was to make it feel like a normal part of modern life. Instead of reaching for the usual calm-and-minimal toolkit, the studio went the other way: a folk-art world by illustrator María Jesús Contreras (@mariajesuscontreras), packed with cityscapes, countryside, spiritual symbols, and everyday life. A colour palette inspired by humanity's earliest pigments. An expressive serif paired with a humanist sans. Their words? A "maximalist gasp in a world of minimalist wellness design". Warm, wildly human, and impossible to stop looking at. Save this one for your inspiration folder. Identity by Mother Design.
