STANDARD.

As I pin on as a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps, that word looms loudly. This promotion warrant reads differently from all of my previous ones, and challenges me to be a keeper of tradition. An upholder of the standard. A living representation of the Marine that nations fear.

From watching a new generation just graduate with my sister (@laurreeeennnnn), and listening to the dreams and expectations of the applicants that I train, I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure they reach their ultimate potential.

Lethal Savages to our adversaries
&
Trusted Friends to our allies

There is no room to complain about the standard, when you are the one appointed to set it.

As I set out with this new rank, I promise to myself, my peers, and my subordinates, that I will train myself, and them, to become those Lethal Savages and Trusted Friends.

I thank Christ for his blessing of health and provision to me and my family & @jermcase for raising 2 Marines through their firmness and fairness.

Let’s make some savages!!! SEMPER FIDELIS

🎓🇺🇸 CONGRATULATIONS, FUTURE MARINES! 🇺🇸🎓

A huge shoutout to the incredible seniors who have made the bold decision to take the next step and earn the title United States Marine after graduation. 💪🔥

Your courage, commitment, and dedication to something greater than yourselves is what sets you apart. While your classmates walk across the stage, you’re already preparing to walk into the legacy of the few and the proud.

We’re proud of you. Your community is proud of you. And the Corps is waiting for you.

Semper Fi and congratulations, Class of 2025! 🎉🎖️
