Another #TwoDigitTuesday tip session. Taping up rips! How do you tape up your rips? Do you go with the gymnastics tape grip? Are you a plastic under the tape sorta person?

What should I try and cover next week? Open to turning this into a full series, assuming y'all want to actually listen to me yap about things 😂

Since there's been a very noticable uptick in kids in the gym blowing up their hands, figured this might be a post to make.

You have any obscure tips that I just have to add to the routine?

2 — THE GYM

I do want to add that on a previous reel, someone mentioned a few groups that did a workshop for an entire gym staff and their teenage athletes. Neighborhood Ninjas, Darkness 2 Light, and Partners in Prevention were the groups, the latter being the main group. Direct quote from the comment: “it’s like if Safe Sport was done well, in person, and specific to the community and situations you are engaged in.” If anyone has more info about that, please reach out to me or comment or anything to help spread the word. And I suggest some gyms look into this as well.

I also want to say that I can hold space for multiple things and I want to make something clear: yes, just because someone doesn’t post something doesn’t mean they don’t care; no, I’m not going to be any less provocative or in your face about spreading the message because actions speak louder than words. And action is necessary.
But I do understand there are nuances to this conversation. I understand that victims may be put in a terrible spot, feeling they need to speak up and lay low simultaneously.
So I’m going to, again, call upon non-victims to take action. And if this makes you uncomfortable, then I do not want to be around you. And I would advise others to keep away as well. It’s simple pattern recognition. Do better.

Destiny breathes.

P.S. My resolve is too strong and if you think I’m going to stop making videos you’re dead wrong. I will do this until I see change actually happen. Do the most. 😤
