Bubbly, spontaneous, enthusiastic, swift, and graceful, topped with an inquisitive mind and lot of curiosity- makes for a headache combination!!! sometimes that can get you into a bit of trouble 😁 She’s also very ready to help in things that are not directly involved with dance, which in a way shows her openness and involvement in the entire project.
 Her spontaneous nature…..
So very needed to bring in the immediacy , the dreams, the fantasy, and most essentially hope in our new work, *The absence of PRESENCE* that we premier soon in Mumbai.

What a challenging, energising, and deeply enriching experience it was to get immersed in the three-day intensive with the amazing Danish Iqbal Ji.

Danish Iqbal is an smazing actor, theatre director, writer and acting teacher, with a rich body of work across theatre, film and education.
He recently was celebrated for his compelling portrayal of Bade Saab in A Dhurandhar: The Revenge, bringing his depth and theatrical sensibility to the screen.

“Your word is your body; use it to convey that… Use your breath and make it your expression… Rehearse the name so many times that it becomes second nature when you call it out… Breathe. Find the difference in your breath when you are worried, anxious, or completely heartbroken.”

The three days were not easy — quite emotionally exhausting, in fact. But they were filled with so much learning and discovery. Now, it is up to us to imbibe these learnings, to truly immerse ourselves in each moment of expression, until the body itself becomes the expression, and the Abhinaya becomes instinctive.

To reach that place where a mere vocalisation of a name can convey an entire narrative, where breath, body, voice, and emotion come together as one.

Thank you, Danish Ji, for such a powerful and transformative experience.
