Last night was special 🥹

We hosted our first ever women’s social ride, bringing together women of all ages and abilities to ride at Thornhill. There is nothing quite like seeing a party train of 20 women rip down OSR!

Thank you @mountainravensbc for helping support the ride and huge thanks goes out to @pitt.cycle for the swag. Riders were stoked to take home some new gloves, bottles, pedals and jerseys. Thank you as well to @saveonfoods for donating the food.

Stoke is high and we can’t wait to do this again ✨

We were women on many missions and we didn’t need any permission…or mansplaining.
What a phenomenal day at the first annual SendHer event @grousemountain put on by @livcyclingcanada
I’m so happy to have seen SO MANY women feeling the same way and especially so many Mountain Ravens! ( @mountainravensbc )

I’ve been trying to find the words for what today felt like, not as a coach, but as a woman.

A sensitive, intuitive, deeply feeling, nurturing, heart-led woman.

And as I put this reel together, I cried.

Because yes, I may have been a coach today, but before anything else, I am a woman.

And today, I needed women.

I needed to be surrounded by loving, caring, nurturing, intuitive, strong, powerful women. Women who understand without needing an explanation. Women who hold space. Women who lift each other up. Women who remind each other of the strength we sometimes forget we carry.

Today was about connection. Sisterhood. Vulnerability. Feminine energy. Strength. Love.

And damn… I feel like a woman.

Not just a coach.
Not just a leader.
Not just someone holding space for others.

A woman. Fully. Deeply. Powerfully.

And today, that was exactly where I needed to be. ❤️
