RDH Wellness Event ✨🧘🏽‍♀️
What a fun and refreshing event to attend! I knew it was going to be something special when I saw it was hosted by @mouthboxx & @dearrdhnewgrad 💕
It was the perfect day to slow down, relax and destress with light yoga, meditation and an art session. It was all thoughtfully curated for Dental Hygienists, by Dental Hygienists.
Such a unique experience, but honestly, one of the best parts was meeting new people, sharing stories, laughing and connecting 🦷✨

I had the best time and left feeling recharged, inspired and so grateful for this amazing RDH community. 🤍

Wellness of the RDH is almost here and we are delighted to have Roxana Mares @somaticspace.ca as a leader and speaker for the workshop:

Movement, Mobility & Nervous System Care for Dental Hygienists

Designed specifically for dental hygienists, this experiential workshop explores movement, mobility, breath, and nervous system care in relation to the physical demands of clinical practice. Through yoga-inspired and somatic movement, participants will address common areas of tension including the neck, shoulders, upper back, wrists and forearms, hips, and low back.

Brief education will be woven throughout the practice to explore why particular movements and practices are being used, what to notice in the body, and how these tools can support comfort, body awareness, self-regulation, and career longevity.

Have you signed up as yet? Only a few seats remain.
Don’t miss out. DM or see link in bio for tickets.

Here’s the hard truth about finding your passion that nobody mentions in school: it won’t just land in your lap.

Passion isn’t something you passively wait to feel. It’s something you actively have to build.

The most inspiring RDHs I’ve met, the ones still radiating energy after 10 or 30 years in the clinic didn’t just get lucky. They don’t wait around for inspiration to hit them. They go hunt it down through outreach, volunteering, mentorship, and surrounding themselves with people who care just as fiercely.
If you’re waiting for a sudden spark to light your career on fire, you’re looking at it backward. Passion is contagious, but only if you put yourself in the room with the people carrying the flame.

If you are lost, here are the people who helped me: @dearrdhnewgrad @mouthboxx @fil_canrdhsociety @allianceofcanadiandh
They have some really interesting events!! Check them out, hope they help! :)
