~ morning of // getting ready // first look with dad! ~

We lucked out with the most gorgeous October day. I got to get out on the trails with some of my amazing bridesmaids before we made our way to the venue!

At the top of the trail we ran, a woman came up to me after seeing the mini veil I had on and said: “Excuse me… this is so strange, but I had dreams of marriage last night and wrote down these scripture passages. You should keep this one.” She then proceeded to hand me the index card you’ll see on slide 7.

I’m not really religious but I do believe in signs, and this was a pretty special one. ♥️

Getting ready surrounded by the most important people in our lives was a dream come true. So much laughter and happiness!!

I’ve never been a girly girl (nor very confident), but it was hard not to feel beautiful on this day. I think my dad was just as shocked as I was when I came out for the first look. 😂

Special thank you to my makeup artist @lalealeah and our hair stylists @makshearegan and @tamara_dahill for working so hard all day and doing such an incredible job! 👏

This is what most people don’t see when they think about learning bodywork.

In this moment, we’re working with a backbend variation often called “pillow cobra.” But what matters isn’t the shape.

It’s how the shoulders are supported.
How the pressure is distributed.
How the practitioner listens instead of forcing.

These are the details that turn technique into real skill.
