Hot August Nights 10 Miler 👟🌳✨

One of my favorite things about trail running will always be the community. ❤️ I got to share these miles with my dad, Henry, Jeff, and so many amazing friends! A huge Thank you to Andy and Amy with @a1ultraevents who always put on the most amazing trail races!

This race we celebrated:
🌳 My dad’s FIRST trail race!
🥈 @jeffneedswater Placed 2nd overall!
🔥 Henry ran a 18-minute 10-mile PR!

And thanks to everyone who donated and picked a song for my race playlist, together we raised $370 for @biggerthanthetrail toward my $4,000 mental health fundraiser with Sedona Canyons 125! 🎶💚

Thank you for showing up, donating, and helping make one EPIC playlist. 10 miles, great people, and an even greater purpose. ❤️

Slightly addicted to seeing women become their strongest self 💪.

We had a touuuuugh finisher at the end of today’s workout (Happy Birthday Jen!) and these women did not stand down. They pushed through and gave their best effort. Absolutely love seeing all of them own their strength.

An 80 mile trip through Arizona. Mingus Traverse

80 miles. 9,000+ feet of climbing. 30 hours and 30 minutes of being completely humbled.

The Mingus Traverse pushed me farther than I ever imagined physically, mentally, and spiritually. I underestimated this course in every way. The technical terrain, the climbs, the exhaustion… there were so many moments I wanted to quit. But through every hard mile, I leaned on God for strength when I had none left to give. This race reminded me that sometimes the mountain in front of you is meant to humble you, grow you, and show you just how much you need Him.

So thankful to @jeffneedswater for being my partner in all of this and pulling me through the darkest moments out there. I truly could not have done this without you!

Thank you to @movewithamalie and @eat__run__repeat for jumping into this crazy adventure with us and suffering right alongside us every step of the way! We’re trauma bonded together after this🤣

And thank you to our family and friends for every bit of support, from the long training days, the encouragement, the prayers, the check-ins, and cheering us on all the way to the finish line. We felt it all❤️

Huge thank you to @unclemattsorganic for supporting this journey and helping us get there with our favorite fueling juices 🍊🍇🧃

30 hours. 30 minutes. One unforgettable lesson in perseverance, grit, and faith.

80.26 miles.
9,091 feet of climbing.
10,121 feet of descent.
One long day (and night) across Arizona.

This morning @jeffneedswater , @eat__run__repeat , @movewithamalie and I step onto the Mingus Traverse, part of the Cocodona 250 course, with grateful hearts and steady legs. 🏜️

Our verse for this race:
Ephesians 3:20 —
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us. To accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or imagine.”

Packet Pick up for Mingus Traverse at @cocodona250 was amazing! @jeffneedswater, @movewithamalie, @eat__run__repeat, and I came to pick up our bibs and did a shake out run while meeting some of the GOATs of Ultrarunning, @amglaze, @rachel__entrekin, @yellowrunner and more! Got to do Trivia with @distancetoemptypod and even won a shirt for the MBA!
