TODAY WE’RE TALKIN’ GLUTES! One of the largest and most powerful muscle groups in the body, made up of three main muscles that do a whole lot more than meets the eye. 🍑

Gluteus Maximus: Helps us generate power and extend our hips for movements like standing up, climbing stairs, running and jumping.

Gluteus Medius: Helps us maintain balance and keep our pelvis stable when walking, running or standing on one leg.

Gluteus Minimus: Helps us move our legs out to the side, rotate our hips and maintain stability as we move.

With each muscle playing a different role, it’s important that we’re building strength through a variety of exercises in studio. Different movements, different purposes, all working towards building strength that keeps you moving well for years to come. 🙂‍↕️

Our favourites, @shamelesspodcast, posed a VERY important question in a recent ep, and naturally…we took it VERY seriously.

So: sandwich, salad or soup. Which one is gone for good?

Jamie — Episode 3 🥊🔥

Third session in and the confidence is already starting to show behind the gloves! 👏

Keeping it simple. Fundamentals and now slowly adding some defence into the mix.

You don’t need to be a fighter to give boxing a go. Just show up, learn and get better each session.

Jamie’s doing exactly that. 📈

Stay tuned for Episode 4! 🥊

A healthy spine moves in lots of different ways! Extension, flexion, lateral flexion and rotation... all things you’ll find us working through during class.

Our bodies aren’t made to move in straight lines. Giving your spine opportunities to bend, twist and extend helps maintain the movement it needs for everyday life.

It’s never just about what you can do in the studio – we’re building bodies that are ready for everything you ask of them outside of it, too!
